Celebrities / 8 Nigerian One Hit Wonders by davidisaiah: 10:44am On Apr 07, 2016
We can’t say they failed in music but neither can we say they succeeded. They came in fast and they left faster! They that wonderful tune that we all loved, dropped mad hot singles, headlined shows and won awards. Unfortunately that was all they could give us, they disappeared! Here are some of the One Hit Wonders of the Nigerian Music Scene.

1. Ay.Com: The Pass Me Your Love crooner breezed in with that hot single with Terry G and that was it! There was nothing else that followed up after that. A Lot had faith in him and were in anticipation for a banging follow up single, but that never happened.

2. G.T The Guitarman: I really don’t know what went wrong with G.T, maybe the management or the record label. He got signed on Storm Records, He didn’t do much there, left Storm Records, still didn’t do much. After a very successful hit single that reflected much on his struggles as an upcoming ac, He went into oblivion!

3. Dee Bee: This gentleman gives us a clear definition of a one-hit-wonder! After the monster hit Collabo, Deebee went missing totally! He had a huge acceptance on the streets, it would’ve been quite easy for him to become an A list artiste, but no one knows what happened, He just went off the grid.

4. Bigiano: He came in very promising with Shayo, and went missing after that. Words on the streets had it that He went back to school and I wonder if He has not graduated till now.

5. Morachi: The good looking rapper from the east came in with a hot single Hapuya Like That, and honestly, He left things like that. He had a follow up single Ibu Onye that was bubbling underground at some point, but never picked up. The last we heard of him was that He is a father...

Fashion / Step By Step Process On How To Grow Your Nails Naturally by davidisaiah: 6:27pm On Apr 01, 2016
We all want our nails to grow fast and strong because they add beauty to our hands and reflects the state of your overall health.
Nails like it is known are made of the same protein as that of hair called keratin. Fingernails grow faster than toenails. On average, fingernails grow about one-tenth of an inch each month. But sometimes they grow even slower. The reason why nails grow slower might be the aging process, hormonal changes in the body, health problems, chemotherapy, medications and nutritional deficiencies. On the other hand, faster nail growth can be seen among children prior to puberty and pregnant women. SO here are three natural ways you can grow your nails faster and stronger.

1. Orange Juice: This is a remedy that can boost nail growth. Its vitamin C content encourages the production of collagen and keeps your nails healthy. Also, it has folic acid, which is essential for nail growth.
Soak your nails in fresh orange juice for at least 10 minutes.
Rinse them off with warm water, pat dry and apply some moisturizer.
Follow this remedy once daily until you are satisfied with the results.

2. Lemons: Lemons contain vitamin C that is essential for nail growth. Also, it helps treat yellow nails and gives your nails a nice shine.
Prepare a nail soak with 1 tablespoon of lemon juice and 3 tablespoons of olive oil. Slightly heat the solution in the microwave and then soak your nails in it for 10 minutes. Follow this remedy daily.
You can also rub a slice of lemon on your nails for 5 minutes, then rinse them with warm water. Pat dry and apply a moisturizer. Do this once daily. Avoid rubbing lemon on your... READ MOREhttp://ipublicizenaija.com/grow-nails-naturally/
Celebrities / Pageant Industry In Nigeria And Its Bitter Sweet Sides(pics) by davidisaiah: 5:13pm On Mar 29, 2016
The Pageant Industry in Nigeria has Become an industry to reckon with in as much as it is an industry that does good, it also has its evil sides, let’s not dwell on any of these but look at this vibrant industry as it concerns Nigeria in contrast with the world. As usual most Nigerians want to do every business they find their peers doing especially when they think it is succeeding and this ideology has sadly affected the pageant industry. Pageant competitions are supposed to create employment, enhance the fashion world, bring to live the mannequins that strut the stage and idolize young beauties by giving them platforms to showcase their talents, but in Nigeria it has become a beehive of infidels, non professionals and mediocrity has become the order of the day!...

Celebrities / Super Eagles Greatest 11 by davidisaiah: 11:25am On Mar 24, 2016
So in the light of Super Eagles match this weekend, it got me thinking. If we had the opportunity to gather all previous and still playing Super Eagles players and roll out an all star team, who would be in the starting line up. So here is my Super Eagles Greatest 11.

1. Vincent Enyeama (GK): He is definitely the greatest to ever wear the goalkeeper shirt for the Super Eagles, with over a 100 caps he has been the rock of the Super Eagles since 2002 through 2015. Captained the team from 2013 till his retirement.

2. Christian Chukwu (CB): One of the greats, He’s a defender extraordinaire. Never smiled during play, focused from start to finish.

3. Ben Iroha (LB): A calm and very calculated left back of his days. Played the 1994 and 1998 World Cup and won the African Cup of Nations in 1994

4. Taribo West (CB): We all knew him as a no nonsense defender. Always ready to jump in into any fight on the pitch. Highly respected by his peers, West was part of the team that won the Olympic Gold Medal in Atlanta.

5. Joseph Yobo (RB): A natural right back player turned to a center back by David Moyes, Joseph Yobo has been one of the most outstanding players in Nigeria. He played 101 games for the Super Eagles scoring 7 goals. He was also a captain at the 2010 World Cup in South Africa.

6. Jay Jay Okocha (CMF): The midfield maestro, a player Nigeria is still looking for his replacement. If he plays, we believe we will win. Skillful and very delightful to watch, Okocha mesmerises at ease. One of the greats, Ronaldinho admitted learning a few tricks from him!

7. Sunday Oliseh (DMF): A strong defensive midfielder in his days, Played for Europe’s top teams like Ajax and Borussia Dortmund. Played for the Super Eagles 54 times and scored twice, of the goals was a power... Read more:http://ipublicizenaija.com/super-eagles-greatest-11/

Celebrities / Stop Saving Money, Start Spending Now! by davidisaiah: 9:42pm On Mar 22, 2016
You work so hard every single day, save a lot from what you make and all you have to do is to make certain that the money saved is well spent. Scientist advise you should spend your money on what will make you happy, but how about the school of thought that says that money can’t buy happiness? Savings as we all know is a good thing to do, it’s a perfect backup plan if things go south. Imagine you’re a financially successful at 35 and you are making N250,000 a month, yet, instead of living a comfortable life, you live like a pauper, renting the same one bedroom since you were 25, you drive a 2002 Toyota Corolla and for vacation, you only go to your village for Christmas and never wanting to see the world, you shut down everything because you want to save money. Is this a good idea? Yes! But there’s a twist to it, instead of letting that money sit there in the bank, why not put it to use.
We all know life is finite which means they are a lot of people who work hard and are going to die with too much money in their bank...

So many things make Lagos as energetic as it is and one them is certainly the ever crowded bus stops where nothing and everything happens. Here are the Top Ten most crowded bus stops in Lagos.

1. Obalende: Obalende is the junction that connects the Island to the Mainland, people coming from Ikoyi, Yaba, Oshodi, V.I all meet here to connect to where they are going next. Always crowded at all times of the day and you can actually find a bus that is going anywhere in Lagos in Obalende.

2. Oshodi: Oshodi is another bus stop that sees at least a million people daily. The human traffic in Oshodi is unbelievable. People from Ikeja, Third Mainland Bridge, Mile 2 all converge here to transit to their different destinations.

3. Ojota: Ojota is the landing ground for many first-time visitors to Lagos as most inter state buses from off their passengers here. There's an overwhelming number of interstate buses that pass through Ojota bus stop daily and it is also a take off point for people that want to head to Ikorodu and Ketu.

4. CMS: CMS just like Obalende is the center point that connects mainland to the Island. There's a large BRT bus station there too. Not forgetting the many corporate head offices around the area and the popular Balogun market that brings so many people to the bus stop.

5. Ikeja: Ikeja bus stop is quite big because it extends from Old Ikeja terminus to Under-bridge, Ikeja-Along to Ikeja-Inside. You could argue that these are different bus stops but so is the case with Oshodi, Mushin, Obalende and other major bus stops in Lagos, they are majorly a combination of smaller bus stops.

Politics / Will South East Nigeria Ever Produce A President? What Osita Okechukwu Said. by davidisaiah: 11:32am On Mar 14, 2016
The recent unrest in the political standing of the South Easterners has got me thinking about Nigeria, its unity and the Igbo Presidency. The rigorous campaigning and politicking that we saw last year was a clear evidence that we as a country are politically ready and open for newness and innovative leadership.

That being said, it raises a question for the South East people as they have been marginalised in the leadership circle of the country. The last from the eastern part of Nigeria to ever rule the country was Gen. Aguiyi Ironsi who was overthrown by a coup in 1966. Ever since then an Igbo man has never been given a shot to occupy the Aso Rock.

During the 2015 All Progressive Congress Presidential primaries, Chief Rochas Okorocha of Imo State said that the Igbos have the potential of becoming president if there is unity; and truthfully, what denied them that opportunity was that there were not unified as at the time and as of now, there is still no unity anywhere.

The Governors and Senators of these Eastern states who have the power to make this bid of the Presidency possible are spread all over different political parties and now the rise of the Biafran fight again makes it all totally impossible for them to have a shot at the Presidency.
