ON POSTPONEMENT OF FRESHERS' RESUMPTION DATE: I had tete-a-tete with Akande Omotayo, OAU Student Union President Elect few minutes ago and he confirm to me authoritatively that the news flying around that freshers' resumption date has been shifted to May 17 is still a mere rumour. he said the Students' Union executive has been trying to confirm from the management. You people should be calm and not be discombobulated by the rumour. The Student Union President,Akande Omotayo can be reached on 08027728756.

certificate of origin is not too important. If you have birth certificate, then no problem, and if worst come to worst, affidavit can be used(just N500 at High court here in ife)...

*Chinedu had 245 as against 255 required for Chem Engineering and the catchment cut off for Enugu where Chinedu comes from is 244, Chinedu is happy he got admission at last on resumption day he board bus from Enugu and sat for 8hrs before getting to ife and didn't come with his certificate of origin that would ascertain if he truly comes from the said place that qualified him for the admission. How is he going to be confirmed and cleared when his main aggregate is not up to cutt-off?

when the lecturer told me,my heart raced and I said the same thing:'this better be a joke'.
But it isn't guys.All my plans,our plans has been torn to shreds.But in terms of reasoning,they have a point,they've just finished a session and we want them to jump right into another,without rest.Its still sad though,really!

You are telling me lecturers needs to rest , what of the students that ran from one lecture hall to the other, and were they not with there sense of reasoning when they chose the resumption date?
One reason I don't even believe this is: lecture starts may25 enough time for them to rest.Or are they the ones to take us on ICT training and verify our credentials.

I'm currently staying with a lecturer,my uncle's friend in mayfair junction,ife.They had a meeting and she related the outcome to him.Anger and dissapointment is a small thing when compared to what i'm feeling right now,I'm outraged.
I feel like grasping omole by the throat,become a vampire and suck every pant of his blood dry.He is cruel to us freshers! ,but I think I understand,they all got to rest

Application for bed space is now open ....I just applied and was given Awo block 3 room 206.

Is anyone here aware that the school calendar has been amended..... though we are still resuming may3 but lecture starts may25 ,matric is now june23 and the session now ends February 2016.

You dont make a conclusion that your father's farm is the biggest when you have not been to other people's farm. I have been to Oau, Uniilorin, UI, Unilag and I can tell you that Funaab is more beautiful than all these schools. Take it or leave it

So you went to all those schools for admission abi before you finally settle in that farm of yours.....Ogun is my state Abeokuta is my city and Ife is the greatest...

I don't agree with you that OAU has the most beautiful campus. I have been to the school twice, my sister schools there, come and compare your school with Funaab then you will know what am saying in terms of beauty. In fact, I have two cousins from Oau that have been to my school and they both said Funaab is more beautiful than Oau.

Even obasanjo's farm is more beautiful abi??
