Kobojunkie: I am afraid you are the predictable one here since you seem to have already concluded that the scenarios you presented were in some way unique to you or those you claim to have heard them from. Like most folks like you, when telling these fables, you assume uniqueness forgetting that where it is you are speaking of.
Yes, I used to be friends with kids who lived in a Babalawo house— our neighbors two houses down— and yes, we did steal and nothing happened to us. As for thieves who broke(on more than one occasion by the way) into his house and made away with some valuables, they were never caught. The police came on both occasions but nothing was heard of the thieves being caught.
Na since the 1970s I don dey ask these questions of all these fabus wey una dey tell. We are almost in 2024 and the questions don't seem to be going away, so how can the strategy be considered outdated? A full grown up man, still arguing on whether evil exists, he is either pretending or just being foolish. You believe in God but you don't believe there is evil too. In your case, I know what you're trying to play with me. You're way outdated |

Kobojunkie: 1. I have stolen from a native doctor in the past and happened to me. I heard of others who did back when we were young as well, and nothing happened to them either — many were never caught. The way you suddenly present the fables you cling to as facts reveals you must have been living ruled by your fears and anxieties for the longest.
2. I got death threats back in Nigeria too but at the end of the day, nothing happened, not even the next day or year. Now, when your leg swoll the next did, did you at least visit a doctor to find out exactly why it did, or did you simply-mindedly conclude it had to be the threat of poisoning that did it?
3. I doubt you know people like me as I grew up in same Africa listening to people like you tell tale after tale without ever showing even an ounce of evidence to prove any of the connections you make in your mentals.....Your kind, ruled by fears and anxieties, is what I had to continuously deal with until I realized nothing reasonable can come from engaging.... no point. Lolz, the part where they start blasting lies on every topic I use; stole from a native doctor and nothing happen, and even to those you know. CHEAP You are too predictable, like I said, these strategy is outdated. |

Does good exist in this world? You mean man's standard of good, most of which is born from even that which are of evil intentions, are good? Abeg, stick to talking of things that you have understanding of. outdated strategy |

Kobojunkie: 1. This from one who thinks the musings of his mind are from another world.
2. Duh! Next time, try to cause yourself to throw up so you see what it was that crawled down your throat while you were sleeping. You may be in for a shock....
3. I am not daft! The only evil I know of is that perpetrated by humans, most of the time against their fellow humans.
4. Now you are just being utterly paranoid. I am not one of your kind. Continue living in your self-imposed bondage to fear and panic! You steal from a native doctor, he threatens you, and you get paralyzed the next day, people like you will say it's just malaria You argue with someone evil and he threatends of poisoning you, next day your legs start swelling, people like you will say its just medical problem. We know people like you. I wouldn't say it's ignorance, cos you know everything here. This strategy is outdated |

Kobojunkie: Spoken like the typical African. You refuse to investigate — figure out— what it is that may have crawled down your throat but are quick to conclude that absolutely nothing did. We know people like you boss. Anything spiritual, you'd make it seem like an illusion. Like we live In a world where only good exists, but we know people like you from experience. You can do better |

Kobojunkie: 1. I don't have your local kind of brain.
2. It never even occurred to you that you could be wrong about that. Something in your throat may also be that a spider crawled in there while you were sleeping. The case has been made that an average of 8 spiders crawl into a person's mouth each year while sleeping.
3. And somehow you are a being of significance to this evil and bad? Africans and their many delusions ehn!
4. Ask yourself this. How come people like me are not plagued by many of the same anxieties and fears that plague, and probably rule over your very lives? Doesn't that at least clue you into the fact that you must be doing something wrong if the continuous end-result is perpetual fear and panic? 1. I'm local but not ignorant like you. 2. Yes, the spider always climbs into my mouth only the nights I happen to eat. 3. I think we both know that their are evil in this world, from leg poisoning and the rest. 4. Of course its people like you into such diabolical acts, but you come online to convince the victims that it is just an illusion. Imagine, making my symptoms clear and you are making assumptions to cover it up. Lolz |

Bacteriologist: Dreams are just the result of subconscious activity in the human brain, they are illusions of the mind and are therefore not real.
Science already explains it. Look up REM sleep, and stop turning to fairy tale books about the supernatural to explain things.
Religion is nothing more than a tool of subservience and control. There is nothing necessary truthful about religion.
Free your mind, you are not possessed. Y'all are just acting like their isn't evil in today's world. |

I noticed I'm eating in the dream, back to back, to the extent it became show obvious that I had to make this post.
Whenever I pray against it before sleeping, I'll eat that very night in sleep.
Even if I didn't have such dreams for a week, the night I pray, na the night I go chop am.
What could be the problem? Anyone experienced this? |

yemmit90: What really happened, you are not suppose to have BP at that age. Even hereditary ones are usually manifest much later in life. Since your sister also face the same issue, it could be hereditary.
Remove your mind totally from anything related to BP, stop worrying about it and start living happily. Don't let them place you on BP drug until you must have tried lifestyle change and the symptoms still keep coming.
Finally, stop Googling or looking for what is going on in your body over the Internet, you will only end up in serious BP and depression. Virtually all sicknesses has the same symptoms, approach your doctor or pharmacist for proper medical examination if you feel like something is not right with your body system. Also, when I start taking BP drugs, no going back Cos once I stop taking the ones I'm talking, my symptoms starts to return again |

It started last year, all of a sudden I started struggling to breath, it felt like something was blocking my neck. I tried explaining to doctor, he kept saying I'm making no sense and that all my lungs were getting air well. When I started breathing fine after a few days, my heart started beating abnormally, whenever I stand up, my heart gonna be pounding and fast. My cholesterol was high then, my blood sugar was high (due to eating too much and not exercising, i guess) Since then, different symptoms, at times it feels like my neck is getting very tight, at times it feels like there's a burden on my chest. Doctor gave me anti hypertensive medicine, i felt relieved, after a month, drug isn't effective again and i can always feel my heart beating. |

yemmit90: 130/90 is not high especially if you are over 40. Besides, some are naturally around that range withiout being hypertensive.
If you tell people that hypertension can vanish the same way it comes, some will start calling you illiterate. Just embark on lifestyle change and see result yourself. Those that live like a bird don't have hypertension, I hope everyone get the logic. I'm 21 years, tho my problem started last year. Doctor asked if any of my family members were hypertensive. My sister just checked her bp, it was the same 130/90 and she's living normal. I'm confused why I'm having serious symptoms with that level, my sister is 26 |

Nice2023: When I had this problem in 2021,my doctor gave me sleeping pill for one week and it disappeared till date.
Mine was 140/98. U might actually need good sleep like mine. The doctor gave me something related to that, I took it once and never took it again because it make me sleepy throughout the next day and I didn't feel my real self. Any idea if yours would work mine, if the high BP is based on family history |

For the second time in a roll, my blood pressure is 130/90
My common problems now are palpitations and arrythymia, when I lay down to sleep, I can feel my heart beating all over my body.
My heart beats faster when I stand up, even without doing anything.
Listen here, when this started newly, there's a medicine doctor gave me, when I took it first, it felt like everything is normal (it's medicine used to treat hypertension),
1 month later, Omo, seems like the medicine doesn't work anymore.
At times if I don't take it for 1 week, and take it again, it works perfectly that day I resume taking it, from next day, it goes back to not being effective.
What could be the problem? Medicine not working abi condition got worse to be controlled
Note - I'm seeing a doctor already, I just wanna hear from experienced fellas here |

I've been dreaming about writing exams. But I'll be writing rubbish and keep changing the answer paper. Even when I have expo to copy from, I find it difficult to write properly. In this process, I do wake up. Sometimes it'll be in an old school I went before, sometimes, somewhere I don't know but it'll be an exam hall. Sometimes I see my sec school classmates faces, but I see a particular guys face often, my best guy in school then, in every dream like this, his face is always around. Last time in this kind of dream, I found a book with the exact date I left secondary school (2018). What does this dream mean |
