I've not used the tab tbh..But one of the reason i chose the tab z 'cos lenovo is a top brand..Couple with the fact it has a 2gig RAM,camera is 8mp,battery is 4k+mah,resolution is 1200*1920 which is good for watching videos..and the tab is light weight for an 8inch.Try google both device
