I wonder the age of this guy, when Engr.Funsho was murdered in his home. Engr. Williams & BAT contested AD primaries in 1999. We were told he was forced to Step down for BAT by the Elders. 2003, he moved to PDP when it was clear that BAT will seek reelection via AC. He lost to BAT. By 2004-5. There was a mass movement from AC to PDP-OBJ factor. The crises of who picked PDP ticket began. A tuzzle btw. Obanikoro, Williams, Ogunlewe. Each PDP group attacking eachother whenever their path crossed. The new PDP power brockers. A Minister/Senator all asked Williams to stepdown for Obanikoro, he refused. The believe was he was to gentle to match BAT aggression in LASG politics. A night after his rally, he was murdered in his house, while visitors & party members were still around. After his death, his loyalists surrendered the structure to his Widow. Mrs Williams contested the Primary against Obanikoro and Won. But the PDP National EXCOS, gave the Ticket to Obanikoro. The PDP uses all they can, federal might and all but still lost to BRF in 2007. If you want to know who killed Funsho Williams ask his party members. Case Closed.
