I introduce nl to a couple of my frndz. They luv it at first, they laff readin diff comments. But they stopped visiting. I think it nl entails more of reading and thinkin to comment, many nigerians see that as hardwork.
I have frnds that hav bn coming to nl for more than a yr but neva comment.


To fb is borin, i only go there to add a frnd or post a new quote or smth i like to keep it. The same way i am not into fb and tweeter is the same other people that love those site will nt be into nl. Different strokes for different folks

The mobile internet market in nigeria is booming ,why is nairaland stagnant? Many ppl I spoke with that are on social media tend to move to and I keep telling them that nairaland is good . Google Nigeria gets 5 Million daily, and it is number 3 in Nigeria, so where is everybody else? Jumia, Konga and Linda get about 1 - 1.2 Million daily. Naij gets roughly 1 Million daily n Jobberman gets about 800k daily.

The total number of daily users should not be much more than 5 million(since almost everyone uses Google as a search engine). [s]Also NL's visitors can't be much more than its members.[/s]

So it's more like, 5 million daily internet users, 3 million on NL and the remaining 2 on Facebook, whatsapp/BBM/2go(it still counts as internet usage), pornhub etc...

Internet traffic is the coming and going of both registered and unregistered visitors to a site


Coming to nairaland there are more unregistered visitors who doesn't care to register.


An unregistered visitor may not visit the site again in the next one month and at the same time u still get numerous others visiting which is still unregistered visitors

U will see guest surpass those registered visitor, so u dont calculate by members only but by Internet traffic

But stats say dat da TOTAL daily users (guest + visitors) is 1.5 million compared to 82 million Nigerian internet users..
