@Jinf, I understand what you are saying, but how will our competition benefit society by just looking at previous works? If you want me not to do YouTube, then please give me a Nigerian blog to convert to an app, so that when I do convert the Nigerian blog to an app, I can give the blogger the app for free. Or how do you feel? Also what is @Warlord3000, take on this?

@Jinf and @Warlord3000. Since it is three of us, we can all choose 3 different blogs/websites (1 blog/website per person) to convert to an app. I choose YouTube. I will convert https://www.youtube.com/ to a mobile app better than the present one on Google Play. I will also convert 2 blog/website links that both of you provide to apps. You guys must also convert Youtube to a mobile app and from there we post up screenshots and links to downloads and we'll let people see who is the best. Are both of you still in this?

Okay. Nice work. I can create about 5apps per day. I now offer 3 types of apps, I added the 3rd offer some days back. It includes daily notification and doesn't load home page on webview. I'll prefer not to name my price online. But it's also reasonably cheap.

@Jinf, 5 apps is pretty impressive and I applaud you for that. Great job. What about if you, me and @Warlord300 did a blog/website to an app competition. Let's take 3-5 blogs/websites and convert them to apps and from there we let Nairalanders judge on who is the best. How do you feel about that?

Oh you guys make use of online app creators. Not bad. 1 - 3 days? That's too long. I'm an android developer sha. I create apps for bloggers too. I don't use online app creators, i write the code myself.

@Jinf, The online app creator that we used, is the one that we built ourselves and not only are we able to create 1 app/apk file, we are able to create 3 different apps/apk files, all for the price of 500 Naira. Thats why we can charge cheap, because we've automated the coding process. How much do you charge? How many apps/apks can you produce? Also, what is your phone number, so that we can compare who is better and more efficient. Not only are both of us Android Developers (although my partner is a better iPhone Developer than I am) but we make desktop apps and web apps as well. You probably use PhoneGap and GitHub. How long does it take you to build 1 app? We've been in the game longer than you and have more experience, it took us 18 months to automate everything we know and come up an app that can create its own app.

What if we could all test our products on the same blog/website. We each get a blog/website and convert it to an app and from there, we can all compare/contrast each others products. When we want to convert a blog/website, we input the screenshots, get 3 designs that we will like to use and get 3 different apk files with the source codes. Also how many more are out there in the market, so that we can know our competition? When did you guys launch your product? For how long have you guys been in the market? Also, ours takes about 1 - 3 days. You said yours take 3 minutes, that is really fast. Can I get a link to yours? Thank you for letting me know that other people are doing this. Can I please know the name of your product and where you got it from? I'll like to do research on it.

I guess NL owner wants you guys focused on the forum and thats smart on his part.

Also if 2 or 3 good webmasters put ideas together with good finance i believe it would compete with nairaland in 10yrs time although it would be nearly impossible to churn out the no of topics NL has and which gives the forum natural organic traffic.

I understand where u are coming from, but dont people still chat on BBM n Whatsapp n yet take the same time to post on Nairaland? Y cant NL aim to be a conglomerate? Ppl will post on threads n chat n use search engines when they feel like it. Nothing is voing 2 stop dat.
