Except if the partner is late. You need consent. DNA is to confirm something else (paternity/maternity), while consent to travel is also different.

Looking at the budget analysis below,I use the actual amount on the flight booking from wakanow confirmation letter, and the actual amount on hotel booking.from booking com confirmation letter,to do the budget analysis,so I can not just write high amount of money.its the amount I allocated for transportation and entertainment/shopping you will help me look if they are okay or I should add more and tell me the amount I should add.thanks

Judging by your travel history and provided you did not overstay, you stand more chance than your husband

1. Does he pay taxes? If he doesn't, let him meet any tax consultant so they can get him last 3 years tax clearance

2. You want do you do presently?

3. Your husband can use both his corporate and personal accounts. He must run it clean and make sure only salary from corporate account enters personal account.

4. If he claims to earn xyz, that xyz must tally with what enter the account and whatever he says is the monthly expenses, they must reflect in that account

5. You both would write letters explaining your personal circumstances in Nigeria, what you do, how you make money and how you have been to the UK previously, without violation, they should be assured you'll not do that this time

5. The same account tally must also be done by you

6 Origin of all funds in your account must be stated

7. If you say you earn ABC, that ABC must enter your account every month. Do not let EGG enter that same account without explaining

It would be written in that last part that says do you have additional information to this application? That part before you click submit.

I put in that I have other savings and investments eg. Pension, money from family...because I ran 18m over six months in my account though most came from money sent into my account by my husband to pay school fees for the children. I am a government worker so salary for now is quite poor.. I saw this thread after we had been denied

Having read both refusal letters, obviously you didn't package your application well.

I'll give a general advice to people.

Start reading this thread from year 2022 to 2024 and you would see similar cases to yours. Read and plan to apply 6 months after.

Except if you have a strong travel history, that's when you can take certain things for granted, otherwise, you stand no chance.


I sponsored my family and we're granted. My wife also works for Government and we made sure what's stated in the pay slip matches what's in the account.

I gave the advice that whether your account is clean or not, write a letter to explain.

UK focuses on every in flow and outflows from your account, looking for slightest excuse to refuse. Don't give them that chance by messing up your application.

Read the refusal letters and try to correct everything in 6 months, before trying again

They've just been refused earlier this year and he's been told to try other countries to open up a travel history, but he's not listening.

I recall him being told that his circumstances has to have improved.

I'm even surprised to see that the visa stamp issued date is same day (today) that the passport was returned to VFS and VFS alerted me rightaway.

Yes is the faster in visa insurance. When I travelled in 2019, we submitted application on 27th October, visa issued, 12th November.

It's the day they issue Visa that they send to TLS. Same day or next day. They don't keep passports at the embassy
