Hello everyone
Biometric done for family of 3 about an hour ago, and mail has just been sent by TLSCONTACT now that it has been transferred to UKVI for decision.
Hoping for positive feedback on this application and that of everyone else on this forum.
Please note that TLSCONTACT says if you used Assisted service to book appointment and you ended up uploading by yourself before coming to the Application centre, that you're entitled to refund.
Hence, I've applied via their website for a refund, since they didn't render any assistance.
Let everyone take note of this
Cheers |

Firebomb: You can either take a train from London (Avanti West Coast) or take a domestic flight (BA - which flies from Heathrow). If the London route is your preferred choice, bear in mind that you will have to transport yourself into the city to take the train from King's Cross or Euston OR plan to arrive at Heathrow to take the BA flight to Manchester.
My advice: if you can afford it, I suggest you book Ethiopian Airlines as they have a flight from Addis Ababa to Manchester. You can can take off from Lagos/Abuja and arrive Addis Ababa then get your connecting flight to Manchester. Similarly, you can take Royal Air Maroc from Nigeria to Casablanca and then take your connecting flight to Manchester. If budget is very tight, Royal Air Maroc is a good alternative, but do not expect quality or standard services as you won't even get in-flight entertainment, and I've heard of people that encountered unpleasant experiences on that route. Ultimately, you will get to your destination. Also, another option is, if Emirates still flies from Nigeria (I have no idea of their current standing because they tend to go back and forth with the Nigerian government), I suggest you fly from Nigeria on Emirates and connect to Manchester via Dubai. Those are a few options for you to consider. Check your pocket/purse to determine what you can afford and also factor in the stress and time involved in all of the options. Emirates goes to Man as well but expensive She can try ET |

JustJapan: So, yesterday was also my appointment date. I went with passport photo but i was told that it does meet the requirements. I noticed that a large percentage was told to take another passport and it didn’t seem like an issue at all. In my opinion I believe strongly that it would even be better to take the passport at the center even though it is on the high side(6k) .for Schengen visa, don't bother going with your Passport Photograph. They'll reject it. Just take it there |

I’m not saying he didn’t have to prove relationship and stuff o, but the stuff is kinda automated. So na to just review the last phase and approve. I kinda agree. harrrry: Good evening guys, My friend's wife is inviting her mum to the UK on visit visa. Due to proxy, she chose VI. her biometrics is due a week from today. She said she want to change the biometric date. when she clicked on amend, she was asked to pay another 32k for assisted service. Is she on track? On the submitted application, she said her mum will be coming first week of December. From the look of things , that is impossible because she plan picking a date after that for biometric. Please, we need advice whether to cancel the application or just change the biometric date? Change biometric date. But be prepared to pay another ₦32,000 cos it's clearly stated on that same page where you see Amend, that the first ₦32,000 is not refundable So yes, she can amend. I'll share a screenshot now. However, if she has quoted a different date in the submitted form, she could get into trouble as Cashmadam suggested. You can cancel the application, apply for refund and start a fresh application

Abbebbay: 1. @ davodyguy but you told me it is only 32000 naira only ,why am I seeing another payment of £76 again.I don't have that pounds money oo. Is the £76 for using vi location ?..
2.please I hope Ikeja location doesn't require this payment in £...Maybe I should choose Ikeja and pay only 32000.
Please shed more light before I go and make a mistake. Thanks You by yourself picked VI instead of Ikeja People have said it here that VI is premium only. Don't blame people trying to help you for your own error It's clearly stated on the TLS website that you can't change application centre. I didn't tell you to pick VI. Our advice is how to select a date for Biometrics for ₦32,000 TLS Contact is deliberate about how they did their site that you can hardly get free date If you wish to reschedule your appointment, you must first reconnect to your account on gov.uk, via the link in the e-mail from gov.uk when you completed your application form.
From gov.uk you will be redirected to our website. Click on My Account and then Amend to change your appointment date. Do not forget to confirm the new appointment date at the Check-out phase.
Once you have selected one of our centres, via the gov.uk website, you unfortunately cannot change this. Your only option is to cancel your application, through the gov.uk website and make a new application, at a different TLScontact centre. |

Choicecarsng: Below is the screenshot of how it shows here.
Is this how it's supposed to show?
Then what card should I use as I tried using my GTB naira card but it's not accepting it? As posited, the £ needs either a £,$, or € card for payment, while the ₦32,000 requires ₦ card. You need to use the card used in paying visa fee to pay £76 and another card for ₦32,000 |

1. I couldn't make the payment of N32k with my naira master card. Must it be with that same dollar card used in paying for the visa?
2. I still see other charges on top for UKVI If you followed my guide here, you'll not see any charges. Undo everything you did and start the process again |

Choicecarsng: Good day gurus in the house.
I have paid for my visa application and have been redirected to TLS site.
I observed that appointments are not possible unless one picks a flex package.
Then for this package I couldn't even pick the time I want only the day.
My question is; can one use naira master card for Payment or it must be dollar card like for visa payment.
The amount I saw is in pounds (76.5) and in naira (100k).
Then there is a warming of separate charges being required by UKVI and TLS contact services, what are those?
Below screenshot. Before you waste funds, read the last two pages on this thread and start the whole process again |

Jolene474: Good morning, please I’m quite slow to understand stuff. So pardon me for asking again, I just want to get clarity. I’ve been filling my UK visa form online and my situation is this. I have a “First Bank Savings Account” which my salary is sent to. I take home N650,000 monthly. Every month I use about N200k, sometimes N240,000 and sometimes N280,000 as monthly expenses due to the inflation currently. So first, how do I enter my monthly expenses? Do I use the average amount over the last 6 months as the monthly expense? 2. I keep the remaining funds after expenses in this same account, and over the years it has gotten to about N9.4M. They asked if I have any savings on the form? Should I say Yes and put the N9.4M as savings or I should say “No savings” and continue. ? I feel the N9.4M is savings, or it has to been sent to a separate account for it to be considered as savings? Please kindly elucidate, Thank you all. 😂 Ordinarily, Agents will charge you ₦200,000 for the free information you'll get here. How much do you earn from this Job monthly? ₦650,000 How much do you spend monthly? ₦300,000 Do you have savings? No Do you have Pension? No (because you're still active, pension is for pensioners who are retired, but you're still working) Then attach your state of account showing the ₦9.4m You don't need to out 9.4m on the form |

Try to select time like 15mins are apart, as you may not be able to choose same time With this, we would find a way to enter together and do bio same time, saving seriously compared with paying about ₦300k for three of us |

Once you're on the TLS contact page, click Amend.
The next page you'll see is STEP 1 where you'll see different services with different prices. Ignore, do not click on any service on this page, just click on Step 2 UKVI
Now you're on page 2. On this page you'll see services with £. Ignore and not click any service on £. Just click Step 3 Book appointment.
Now on Step 3 Book appointment page, you'll see different dates and above those dates you'll see
Assisted service Self Service.
Click on assisted service.
Then you start clicking on the time slots one by one on the day you wish to go.
When you click on a time slot, it will bring out a prompt at first saying you're paying for service, click yes.
Then the next dialogue box will show you if you want to upgrade to Prime time or Premium Lounge, click No thanks.
If that time is available, it will be loading and will prompt out proceed to Check out and you'll see ₦32,000. If you like that time, proceed to pay with your card.
But if that time is not available, it will not load.
You'll be doing the above steps on all the time slots, until you see anyone that will prompt you to check out.
Some time will not prompt, so you will be doing this continuously until you find a time available and pay only ₦32,000 |
