However, sponsors need to recoup investment? We saw the Puma issue between Davido and WizKid Puma said they'll make more money with Davido than with WizKid. We need to always be mindful of this |

Bobodee09: How is having 14 HM out of 28 from one tribe entertaining??
Biggie and Ebuka always say the show is a social experiment to promote Nigeria culture and diversity.
So if one tribe is having half of the contestants isnt what they say hogwash
Finally my complains is directed towards biggie and BBN organizers so I don't understand why you are agitated.
I pay to watch the show so I have every right to complain about what I feel is wrong even if it pains people like you since your tribe is the one with major contestants....kindly get that into your 5yr old brain. The highlight is why people are complaining. What people are saying is balance. If they decided to bring more Hausa or Yorùbá next season, people can complain as well. Are people not complaining that Tinubu's appointment is Nepotistic? Yes they're and to me well, Tinubu's appointment is biased towards Yorùbá and it's same thing Buhari did favouring Hausa. Remember, the sponsors actually want diversity, because they sponsor in order for show viewers to patronise them more. But if the show selection is biased, how will Guinness gold sponsor or other sponsors make money from poor viewership. So, the call for balancing is very genuine |

NPK1: I've been a silent reader but I learned a lot from this thread and wanted to pay it forward.
I applied for a visa to visit my sibling for 2 weeks.
Submission date: September 5th Biometrics: September 11th Collection email: October 2nd
I got an email when tls sent my application to DMC, but didn't get any email from UKVI about receiving my application or that a decision had been made. It took exactly 15 working days. The visa was granted.
I submitted these documents: Cover letter Payslips Salary account bank statement Savings account bank statement Employment and promotion letters Sibling's BRP and passport Sibling's tenancy agreement Chats to explain that inflow into my accounts were loan repayments Copies of US and Canadian visas (both valid but unused) Travel stamps for previous trips to India and Cote D'Ivoire
My bank statements were not very clean. I had some credits which were loan repayments from friends and family. I was a bit concerned about this but decided to submit anyway. I budgeted 1,000 pounds in the application form (no accommodation) and included a comment in my cover letter that it was a very conservative estimate but I have the ability to flex to 2,000 pounds if required.
In hindsight, my application was probably not so straightforward, but I think the fact that I work in a reputable international organization and possess US and Canadian visas may have helped. My bank statements also demonstrated monthly salary payments and transfers to my savings account.
I hope this helps someone! This sums it up. People get bounced for some trivial excuses based on bank accounts. They looked at it that USA and Canada found you worthy, hence they too can, cos your previous travels to the Ivory Coast and India didn't count, as both are not A list countries |

Aguwanyi: You've been on a ranting spree about Igbos dominating the show since the season started and u claim not to have problems with Igbos.. C'mon this is a faceless forum, no one is going to shoot you..
You know what Scondy??
If d show will hold next, go to ur village and other western state and beg them to audition. Don't forget to visit Northern states like Adamawa and Maiduguri or better gather almajeris in ur street to audition for d show..
You are a tribal bigot.. Hello former teamy. Let's look at it this way, there's really no way everyone from all 6 regions wouldn't have auditioned, but it's left to the organisers to pick them. Saying Scondy should go to her region and the north to bring people out to contest, doesn't really add up, cos it's still subject to the selection process. I think her angle is that if you say you need 28 Nigerians, because of how peculiar our situation is that one tribe (North, South and West) would always cry marginalization, then the organisers could have set that criteria 28 People right? Divine by 6, let's pick 4 people per region. The organizers can do that if they choose. For instance, the constitution has made it mandatory for all presidents to pick minimum of 37 ministers. No matter how much Tinubu hates other tribes that he now decides to favour Yoruba more, he presently has 6 Igbo ministers because the constitution says all states must bring 1 minister.. Same with the Senate. The constitution says 109 Senators and 3 from each state, no matter how big Kano is compared with small Ebonyi State, both have 3 senators representing respectively. That's the angle, I believe Scondy is coming from. Organisers can balance things if they want and not be like what President Tinubu's doing now appointing based on tribal sentiment |

Top 5 turn Top 8 so we can have more igbo make finals....cos there is no way ozee/anita/nelly/onyeka were not next in line to be evicted.
28 housemates....14 /15 from the east .....in a country with 6 geo political zones....
Mtchew... Lol Last year All Stars nko? It wasn't balanced They're 24 and 10/11 from same region, then the other half were shared amongst the rest. There's no way we can take away this from our system. Is Bola Tinubu's appointment lopsided favouring his tribe more than others? Yes, BAT is biased, just as the organisers of BBN in the last two editions have been. From top to bottom, organizations, government, shows etc need to balance things. Do you know why Kamala Harris couldn't pick California Gov (Gavin Newsom) as her VP, they're from same California |

Alphagan: Dear BBOrganizers,
I write to congratulate you on the successful completion of the 9th edition of the Big Brother Naija reality show. Through your platform, you have transformed ordinary individuals into millionaires and rookies into stars. You have given rise to voices that now resonate in their own right.
The entertainment has helped heal boredom, making people laugh, cry, feel sorrowful, and happy,it has been a mixture of all emotions. Thanks to your ingenuity, and thank you for the show.
As an honest observer and a lover of your show, who hopes for its sustainability and progress, I must, however candidly express my thoughts and highlight perceived inadequacies.
The ratings of your show have been progressively declining, and this is worrisome.
The selection process needs to be adjusted to better reflect our reality in terms of quality and equality, without compromising profitability as I understand your venture is a profit driving one. At present, the process appears to be nepotistic, tribalistic, and lacks the necessary transparency in selecting housemates.
The lack of innovation from you will continue to increase the number of disinterested viewers. Any business that fails to evolve will eventually cease to exist. From all indications, the decisions you normally take are not data-driven. I have a full report detailing where things went wrong. While I can share a few points here, the actual data and real-time implications would remain my intellectual property.
The production team appears to favor docile, quiet, and inactive housemates, they give them ample screentime, while the active, lively, and engaging ones are sidelined. This results in a lack of meaningful engagement, which ultimately reduces viewer interest.
Despite the poor ratings, I would not advise going on hiatus, as that may deal a fatal blow to the show. However, a holistic approach to addressing these issues would go a long way in reigniting and enhancing viewer interest.
Most importantly, the key ingredient that once endeared BBNaija to viewers seems to have been lost (It is a sensitive issue by the way).
Please, bring it back.
I anticipate a better show next year, thank you.
Sincerely,
Alphagan. That's why I didn't follow this year. Selection was not balanced at all and appears Nepotistic with the 8 finalists. |

I will like to have a good experience being a first time traveler.
Please kindly share. Which of the two is better?

Thegamingorca: Employed as manager works perfectly. However if you want to go through the CEO route you'll need tax returns, cac certificate and other shyte Meta AI As a company owner with employees, you would typically be considered self-employed for UK visa application purposes.
Here's why:
1. Immigration Rules: According to the UK Immigration Rules, a person is considered self-employed if they are "in business on their own account".
2. Company Director: As a company owner, you are likely a director of the company, which is considered self-employment.
3. HMRC Classification: HM Revenue & Customs (HMRC) classifies company directors as self-employed for tax purposes.
However, there might be exceptions. If you receive a salary from your company and do not have control over the business, you might be considered employed.
To clarify:
1. Check your employment contract. 2. Consult with an immigration lawyer or UK Visa and Immigration expert.
When filling the UK visa application form:
1. Select "Self-Employed" as your employment status. 2. Provide business registration documents. 3. Submit tax returns and company accounts. 4. Include a letter explaining your business and role.
Remember to check the specific requirements for your visa category and seek professional advice if needed.
