What's the mode of dressing to the exams centre please

Wear something okay. Not a must to wear suit. Wear something comfortable. As a lady, don't wear night club wears. As a man, dress responsibly. But for the interview, suit up. I did not suit up for the interview and the chief panelist had something to say against me that day. He spoke in his thick Igbo accent (You ehn! We said you should put on corporate wears, where's ya blazers)? I only put on tie not blazers.

Modified: in case you are told to dress in a specific way, adhere to it.

Back then, no Mathematics. Just trending socio-political issues. They will definitely ask questions about insecurity, tribalism, elections, etc. It is even possible they might ask questions on Maths. Just prepare for anything especially what's going on in your society.

For an exam that thousands of people wrote and is both theory and multi choice questions, how could they have marked every script so quickly and recorded the scores to make them call you for interview the second day?

Marking is a tedious job. All DSS officers already have their duties and won't leave them for marking overnight. They don't give this marking contract out and if they even do, could they have marked everything in less than 24 hours? From experience, the exam often end in the evening. My bet is that your making that interview itself didn't just happen.

As at 2020 when I sat for DSS exam in my state, the questions where current affairs. We only used pen in our booklets. There was OBJ and theory sections. For the OBJ, there wasn't options. Some questions I can still remember are: Who is the head of NCDC (National Centre for Disease Control...na Corona virus period), Who is the leader of Afenifere?
For the theory part, we were asked to make a case of the establishment of Amotekun by SW if it is proper despite having different national securities in the country.
Another question: What are the qualities you have that make you the right person for this job?

I passed the exam and was called for an interview the following day. I did well during the interview than everyone else...in fact I was privy to hear about my performance from a source as I was one of the tops in my state. But when it was time to give employment, I was not given.
I could have given out more details, but dem go just arrest me. I no fit do DSS again even if dem dash me.

This is a very sensible write-up. I never knew this deputy governor has such a great sense. Even the Holy Scripture says: spare the rod and spoil the child.
The rod here isn't necessarily cane, but disciplining which includes but not limited to morals, inspirations, warnings, word therapy, etc. In fact, it's better a parent read in his kids presence always than to be fiddling with phones. This will encourage the child to do same. Little kids always want to mimick their parents/loved ones.

Trust me with what I'm saying. It was #154k+. Not up to 155k (as net salary). The agency uses CONPSS and it's under presidency. The highest earner (a whole DG) in the agency doesn't earn as much as a GT in NNPC.

Depends on the ministry/agency/parastatals. For example, I saw that of a FG worker (GL 08 Step 3) earning #154k plus.

National Population Commission isn't B-list but Z-list. They are under CONPSS. Their salaries no make sense like that. I've written on this severally.

Why are you hasty? Wait till the end of the month now. But your salary should be like #160+ but not up to #180. No great benefit apart from doing idan with birth and death certificates. The real money is during censuses. USAID has been cancelled so nothing really much to earn aside salaries. If dem give you correct Registration Centres and you come sabi manage am, you don hit be that. Apart from that, the job is bullcrap.

They've not commenced activities. No staff has been recruited except the boards which was constituted few months ago.
