There are many different kinds of people in the world, and you can never assume that everyone will react to your strategies in the same way. Deceive or outmanoeuvred some people and they will spend the rest of their lives seeking revenge. They are wolves in lambs' clothing. Choose your victims and opponents carefully, then never offend or deceive the wrong person KNOW WHO YOU ARE DEALING WITH - DO NOT OFFEND THE WRONG PERSON LAW 19 in 48 laws of power Dogara has outmanoeuvred the wrong person, Jibrin will fight Dogara till the end |
ihatesycophant:You don't treat some issues in isolation. You mentioned impunity as if the same impunity is not a product of selfish interest. Democracy is about representation guided by the constitution and when the act guiding its tenets is breached, a redress would be sought at the court for possible interpretation and correction. At the end, democracy becomes more stronger. You can't attained the level of democratic sophistication of the U.S without all these legal tussles, it's part of the system. I know the above but when the purpose of court cases is actually not to correct the loopholes in the constitution , rather, but an attempt to buy justice for the sole purpose of self aggrandisement to the detriment of the welfare of the masses, then, such court redress is meaningless and shouldn't be used to distract the entire populace. |
What difference does it make? Would the chairmanship of a terrorist in Sheriff or a Fulani herdsman in Markafi bring about reduction in the pain and suffering of the masses? None of the camps is worthy, the battle is about selfish interest and nothing more. #yawns, going back to sleep... Wake me up when the fight is about us..the masses, when the fight is about our wellbeing, when the fight is about our welfare, till then, all these theatrics are nothing but a colossal waste of time and scarce resources. BTW, where is the source of your news? #light off |
Very mischievous post. Read the op and digest the content, then, you know what he's out for. Yorubas should avoid this thread and allow it to die a natural death. |
obailala:We read on this board everyday the comments of people from that side of the country. Except people like Tonye though an Ijaw man and few others, all others are in support of those militants. If at all you are right with your comment, then, their silence is too loud |
We have rogues, criminals, budget padders, insensitive and heatless looters as our legislators. Looting is the only language they understand, the leadership has k-leg, sadly enough, we have an ethnic champion as the president,. While looting is going on in NASS, ethnic cleansing is going in the office of the President. #One chance |
NwaEzefuNaMba:You are just impossible nigga. Check the source again and tell me how related it is to Yorubas, your nightmare |
The most unfortunate thing is most of the missing kids' brothers and sisters, even parents are on nairaland cheering the militants up. Now that the poo has finally hit the fan, I hope they will still be consistent in their support for the economic terrorists. Who knows the next victim? You or your family member? May God bring home the innocent kids |
Nice expository!!! |
rosalieene:I see!!! But don't be like the girl in op's oasis of emotional recklessness. |
rosalieene:You don't have option...when you are confronted with superior logic, you bow! |
rosalieene:We don't treat women as sex objects, rather, most of them present themselves as sex objects. Have you asked yourself why they are the ones at the brothel, club and other joints collecting money in exchange for sex? A lady that cannot contribute anything positive to your life but she's interested in your money, pray, tell, if you don't fvck her, what would be your reward? |
rosalieene:Why are you in haste? The concluding part of the story is yet to be posted and you are making in affirmative your conclusion of the fairy tale. Wait and read the op's "come back" then you know the fish brain description fits a certain gender demography very well. |
I think Gbaja is principled, Buhari now knows the cog in the nation's wheel of progress. Both senate and rep are disasters because of the mischievous politics of Buhari to clamp down Tinubu by all means. He's being distracted by the problem he should have solved long time ago. It sucks to be Bubu walahi |
olajizz01:Erin kee kee (EKK) Omo Iya, mo ti wa di awon omo ibo ni sinyi? I cannot laugh. I'm a proud Yoruba guy. |
Moneytize:My post didn't absolve Igbo of such act and I'm not going to exonerate my people too. The "distrust, taunting and online denigration" between the two tribes is mutual. My question is, for how long are we going to continue in this journey that leads to nowhere? I'm just sick of the unhealthy rivalry, instead, the Lugard's creation should be redesigned or be dismantled. How is the union benefitting Yoruba's? We did our best to bring about the current leadership in our country, are we being fairly treated? It's about Buhari and his almajiri brothers, for how long are we going to fight ourselves down south for a united Nigeria that benefits the parasites up north only? |
Tribal slur continues. Won't you just give it to the "illiterates" up North? While you are at each other's jugulars down South, your common enemy keeps waxing stronger. Why can't this contraption just break for possible fresh air? |
That ugly moment when Buhari's tyranny, ethnic bigotry, nepotism and an advanced form of incompetence now makes a mega thief in Atiku a desirable option, mhen, Nigeria is in a deep shi.t |
Policy inconsistency on the part of the government, ideological hemorrhage on the part of the citizens, then you wonder why we are deeply enmeshed in this chronic backwardness of an epic proportion. At a point, Sheriff was new bride who understood the politicking within the ranks and files of APC, he would decimate apc, he would put PDP on the national map again, he was part of the nucleus of the apc, those were the words of our brothers but suddenly, the rhetorics changed. The adored liberator became a mole, a boko haram founder, a destabilizing apparatus and what have you? Between the two extremes of national approval and national disenchantment, what transpired? Who were the actors? Have they been tamed? Still a long way to go....PDP, the end your crisis has not come!!! |
koboko69:See the person talking, you contribute to the failure of the system.Efcc can collaborate with the property registry authority in Dubai to bring about forfeiture of illegally acquired assets. |
keniolawumi56:I would have lashed at you, but on a second thought, I felt it wasn't necessary. Check the comment you quoted again and tell me if you didn't see question mark(?) at the end of my first statement. |
1stCitizen:What fact do you need again? #facts Buratai bought his mansions from the proceeds of corruption Efcc is a toothless bulldog answerable to the King of the North There's no equality in our polity again, nepotism has taken over Common sense dictates that we connect dots and make an informed position, we are not dullards |
Buratai is too powerful for his properties to be seized? Don't be fooled, efcc believes the company leaked the information and other relevant documents implicating Buratai to Sahara Reporters. Now, they are being hunted for daring the power that be.. Efcc should seize Buratai's properties with no delay |
APC will have a resounding failure at the poll if this man becomes the flagbearer. I mean, a failure of an epic proportion, he represents the establishment, policy that anchors around distributing grinding machine and okada to graduates is not what we want now. A cerebral, urbane and a tested industrialist that can create wealth for the state should be given the mantle. APC signs her burial date in ondo the day Boroffice is favoured to clinch the ticket |
Funny country. When Saraki is finally ousted, price of naira to dollar will immediately appreciate, there will be a downward review of pump price of PMS , oh I forgot, inflation will suddenly disappear into the thin air, Buhari's bigotry against South will suddenly stop. If the excesses of Buratai could be managed then that of Saraki should be managed too, they are bird of a feather(criminal) |
SeverusSnape:It's actually your prerogative to support whosoever you deem fit, but generalising such is a fallacy. We all don't support criminals. Political affiliation has eroded our patriotism leaving the country as bad as we all could never imagine. People tend to justify their questionable allegiance, no matter how "reasonable" the reasons are, criminality and illegality can never be justified |
She stood against tyranny, she went head to head with the usurpers, when the silence of those that matter became too loud, she echoed her firm resolve for an egalitarian society. She fought her blood to make Nigeria a safe heaven, she was threatened, almost assassinated but she remained focused, dogged, undaunted and resolute. When it was ripe, she submitted everything to martyrdom. Dora, you will forever live in our heart, we love you |
SeverusSnape:Like I need your inconsequential opinion to validate my stance. You are not any better than those APC guys up there supporting this criminality. Don't you support Fayose, Saraki, and Metuh again? |
It is very disappointing to see how some APC apologists are defending Buratai. What's the difference between Pro Saraki, Metuh, Dansuki of pdp and pro Buratai of APC? Buhari is a confused bigot that sees nothing wrong in criminals he hobnobs with but quick to tell whosoever cares to hear about how he's fighting corruption. Buratai, Dambazuu et al are clean? Mr Buhari? Charity begins at home How I hate bigoted hypocrites |
