So the OP deactivated , I read the whole thread from beginning to the end. Too much emotions on this thread (I'm sure everyone understands why).

A man witnessed his friend having sex with his own daughter , I don't even think there's anything more abominable than this , the mere thought of it gives me the creeps ...so many people said he should have recorded a video, some said he should have called on the neighbours ,others said he should have screamed...all this is easier said than done in this kind of situations.


The man was obviously confused , if it were to be his daughter the reaction would have different we all know that ....maybe he was thinking about the stigma like he said , or his "friendship" with the guy or even the justice system if/when he reports ( the man could probably be out in less than a week if he's reported to the police )

So that event occurred , the OP didn't do anything about it and brought it to Nairaland for a solution ... Then came the insults, the ridiculous questions , the curses while all the man needed was HELP... I'm sure if the man had gotten someone to HELP on the first page and not just give "advises" like we usually do a girl would have been saved now .

Someone even suggested that the OP " leave the matter to God " wtf ?
( who knows maybe that's why he deactivated )

Please let's change our attitude, someone needs HELP , if you are in the position to HELP don't give ADVICE or PRAYER ...

There was this time when a man was carjacked after which he made a report at their division. Luckiky, after a few weeks car was found in another state and it was transferred to them. Anyway, car owner didn't know and after two months went back to check on the progress of the search and saw his car gathering dust. Happy as he was, oga thought he could carry his car along since the lost item had been recovered. Never mind he hadn't been contacted before his arrival there.

Anyway, dude goes to stake his claim and begin the collection process only to be billed 200k. As he starts to protest, he's asked if he knows how his car was revovered which, of course. he doesn't. They lied that there was a shootout with robbers and that one of their colleagues is critically injured and they'll need money for hospital bills which government isn't really paying. So, they can't leave their colleagues to suffer in vain while car owner simply waltzes away with his car . He must to drop something.

Car owner pleads and pleads and has to negotiate to 50k, after all he wants is his car back. Takes him couple of days to come up with the money and take it there. No car. Dem done move am.

Long story short, it takes him almost a month to get that car back from them, and that is after involving a lawyer. And he still parted with 100k, as well as, lawyer fees.

So many stories they tell of lawyers and judges being intimidated by them. Sometimes, the way a case is handled at inception can Bleep up a good case.

With my experiences with them I'm uncomfortable around them. Their only allegiance is avarice and greed. Underestimate them at your own peril.
