Waiting on you for the explanations because I travel a lot and I've been using those bags of late.

The bags were stopped because they make the work of baggage handlers difficult across airports all over the world.

The bags don't fit easily to square shaped equipments deployed at airports.

They are also difficult to carry due to the cheap strap handle, requiring baggage handlers to lift them with both arms and sometimes, part of the body.
