Fact: None of them have suffered transmission palava despite using abro or dextron, I was the one who stopped them from using such fluids and helped them use right fluids for their vehicles. Yet the vehicles still carried on fine.

Fact: through out this month, I've worked on more than 40 vehicles, only one Rav4 came with transmission solenoid issue which I told the owner yet he refused to coorporate and I left him.

Everyone makes mistakes. And truth be told, many car dealers and to some extent, mechanics do not know much about their trade. All they know is full option, whatever that means, and nothing to fix, an assertion that has landed OP in trouble.

Well you are quite correct but with this also comes the distinction. I have sold cars for people but I have never called myself a dealer. But yes, we all make mistakes. Have a good day bro.

The point of those posts above is to let potential buyers know that the OP may not be a legitimate car dealer. Even I know just from the interior of the car posted that it is a Vogue and not Sport, now talk more someone who claims to be a car dealer.

When i read some comments, i couldn't help but laughed. I will simply reiterate the obvious

Terms of sale: chucky234 agreed to deliver a benz 240 2002 model with all the contions below


Take note of the the 'clean interior and exterior'
When i contacted chucks, he mentioned low coolant and engine oil as the only faults which he said he was going to fix. Based on the a sum of #730k was agreed including 20k for transport to PH and 30k for fresh registration.

I transfered 630k to chucks plus additional 14k he claimed he will use to buy a new battery which he never bought(Fraudulent act 1)
Chucks gave the car to one mohammed(driver) to deliver to me. After two days the driver agreed to bring the car to PH. I had to leave offshore to be available in PH on the said day. When i called the driver to know how far he has gone, he told me there was hold up on the road. Later he said the ATF was leaking. At this point i called chucks to tell him the situation. He said the driver will fix it at his own(chucks) cost. All this was a lie as i get to find out later. The driver never let Lagos(fraudulent act 2). The driver later opened up to me that the car is not drivable that he needs to :
1. change the air control module and MAF sensor
2. that the two front window glass weren't working, will need to replace the two door module
3. buy 12 spark plugs and 4 litres mobil 1

At this point, all effort to reach chucks was futile(suspecious act 1). When i asked the driver if he can contact chucks, he said chucks is very sick and can't talk. I was furious. I wanted the car. I told the driver to contact Gazzuzz for repair..... in a nutshell i spent 66k to get the car fix.

On receiving the car, the interior related fault, power steering and brake system fault was evident. The horn, driver's airbag, passenger front seatbelt defects were also evident. The next day was when chucks finally sent me whatsapp(suspicious act 2). I was angry and listed all the faults to him. I told him this was't the agreement that either he fix the car or he return my money. Then chucks phone won't go through, he won't reply my whatsapp. It was at the point i told him my father is an herbalist that he started responding(lol).

I told him to return my money. Because i threatened him with my father being an herbalist that he will tell his lawyers one in lagos and the other in abuja to come and inspect the car before he will refund #590k. The amount he will be refunding which is 120k less the amount i've spent so far was the reason i told him to give me 50k to help resolve the issue. Chucks agreed but he never gave me the money. he said he was never going to pay.
I told him i was going to open a thread here, he said he can always defend himself

Oga I have told you, post his full name and not just his moniker and have it highlighted in the first page of this thread and if possible sef his pictures. Even if you would lose your money, make sure he cannot scam someone else so easily, and let other potential scammers know that there are consequences for their actions. Isn't it obvious the nigga was playing fast and loose with the truth when you were trying to buy the car No be my money sha.

Hmmm, brov, I saw and started following this thread the day it was posted, I have read all the posts made by the OP and all the posts made by the culprit. I also viewed the original sales thread as well and Chucky234 claimed to another potential buyer that the one advertised had been sold but he had another available. I believe he actually had two of the same vehicle available and once he knew Oseri wouldn't be able to inspect the car physically, he sent this bad one to him, and then because Oseri never commented on the original sales thread and all previous communication had been via whatsapp and phone calls, he did not expect that Oseri would put up a thread on nairaland or that his reputation was that strong.
The accused is obviously very arrogant and places no priority on customer satisfaction and the fact that he thinks this whole debacle "has nothing" on his reputation, means he has overly hyped himself and grossly underestimated the power of nairaland as a community but the fact is I really don't blame him for this arrogance because the general consensus among most dealers in this section is that nairaland is the small fish while olx is the main for car sales. I mostly operate in the tech market and the reverse is the case because olx is known as a scam hub for the type of business done there.
People keep nagging on about how Oseri failed to inspect the car before purchasing but the fact is he was banking on the integrity of the seller as a reputable member of this forum, I have personally sent goods to people around Nigeria without them physically seeing them without them having issues after purchase but granted, buying a car is a more complex and demanding purchase.
The koko here is the autos section needs a complete overhaul so that it becomes clear to all sellers that nairalanders are not to be taken for a ride, I mean, isn't the whole point of a forum for opinions and feedback?
Oga mi, this is most likely not the ride he brags about, this is most certainly just a crayfish he had and decided to sell to Oseri due to the difference in location, his actual car may be a much better vehicle than this. Lastly, Oseri, post the dude's full name and not just his moniker because this confidence he has is probably just coming from the fact that you're tarnishing one moniker(he probably has another), if the damage is being done to his official name, a change of monikers can't solve that and he is more likely to be less proud and more open to redemption.

N.B I have stuff for sale but I am not advertising because I truly care for sanity on this board and nairaland as a whole and there are a lot of problems that need to be solved, I hope this matter comes to a satisfactory close for the customer.

Funny enough there is a similar misconception about AMD CPUs. Yea, I was telling a client that AMD CPUs having those issues stopped mostly being the case in 2009 or so and he was just like ok Sigh. I personally don't recommend AMD APUs because they're mostly not as powerful, for example th higher end A10 is no match for the i7 family from Intel. If it were that their bundled graphics processors were much better than the Intel IGPs, this would be a very different case.
Just imagine a "laptop" expert telling me that if I had an AMD processor, putting my laptop to sleep would destroy the board.

oga, no one can unlock an iCloud locked iPhone. Apple recently employed the hackers that did the unlocks Wch makes it now impossible. Before they'd send your imei and some other info of your phone to a site and pay like $200. Then the hackers would help unlock it. It might take weeks or months. But now, doesn't work anymore..don't be deceived

Definitely, but most people don't know this, I have personally seen a lot of people bamboozled into buying laptops with weaker Nvidia cards than AMD cards based on the general logic that AMD is "bad". Although I can't say everybody should know how to discern if a card is good or not because that would mean that I wouldn't be getting deals as good as I do now.

I believe it can can be rooted using framaroot on the phone itself or use Nokia X manager on your windows PC. Just make sure to have USB debugging enabled.
