AS this As that . Too many fear how this one is AS or that one is AS and they should not marry. But the reality is that 1/3 of Nigerians have the AS trait and they turn out fine marrying another AS. Our forefather which many were AS did not even have time to think who have AS or who do not have As , they just marry. Enough with this fear factor , marry who you go marry.

You're right about our father's and grand fathers. And that is why some of their wives born 12 and only 4 remains. And they call it Abiku because they lack the basic medical understanding. And as for your advice for any AS to marry another AS. Well I don't have anything to say about it. Their choice, thier life.

Please this an advice to all AS genotype peeps.
Don't see your genotype as a barrier or limitation. In fact, we are healthier than AA carriers according to studies as we hardly suffer malaria. I might not be able to explain the science behind that now but its true.Do your research. So no cause for alarm as with the compatible genotype, we can have healthy babies and be free from stories that touch. grin

This is just my two cents. smiley

Shalom.

Op, you want make me and you enter d same trouser? AS healthier than AA? shocked
I doubt it o. I am genotype AA and group O and I can boldly tell you the last time I smelt malaria was 2010 2nd/3rd week fa.I don't use drugs and if you see pills for my mouth, n.a. Vitamin C i dey lick and that will be once or twice in a year or so.

As for the reason behind AS not been susceptible to malaria, someone already spoke about it but I will buttress on it. Quoting the person
''simply, the red cells dies before time thus the plasmodium doesn't survive such.'' .......that's why AS are immune to malaria.

Normal red blood cell has a life span of 120days before it dies naturally, and because AA has a normal red blood cell which is very rich in oxygen the cell lives longer hence, the plasmodium from the mosquito has enough time to mature, reproduce and circulate thru the system which will eventually result to malaria. But for AS, because it is a carrier cell, once it is infected with the malaria parasite, the presence of the parasite causes the red blood cell with defective haemoglobin to rupture prematurely making the plasmodium parasite not to be able to mature or replicate since it will need much oxygen to mature which the AS cannot offer. So how does this make AS healthier than AA? So Op com answer me before you see me at your door post early momo tomorrow. And above all, let God reign.

This is one of the reasons one has to be very carefully and prayerful. If I have to start narrating some stuffs here, some people will think I'm fetish, but no, I have never been and I will never be.
Truth about this type of technology
1. It is mostly thrown into an Atlantic... hardly can it be found in a river for some reasons
2. It always involve the use of pictures, although some may not.
3. Your name will always be a vital ingredient
4. If you have had intimacy with the fellow, it makes it more easier. Although some may not really involve you having intimacy. Etc
Finally, some will still come around to say what is the title of this movie? I just pity such people. Some people have been yoked into unwanted marriage just through food, some through sex, some through gift, some through things you never thought could be used against you, in fact just a simple eye contact with a lady who has laced her eyes with 'Tiro' can get the job done. Yet...
Moral lessons
a. Never take your life as joke, be serious with it
b. That guy in suit, that lady wearing skirt suit or trouser suit. For the fact that they look good sophisticated does not mean they can't be fetish. There are plenty of the at your place of work. Speaking from experience, but greater is the one in you if only you know your covenant right. There are mysteries in this life, but because we are limited with this physical sight, some of those things are better left untold to avoid a lot of probing.

shoboy9:
@OP, I think it is best to clarify what you really mean. There are so many things in your post. But let me start with this "Paul planted, Apollo watered, but God gave the increase". It is God that gives increase, not because GO is praying for you or you have a thousand women in congregation, or how many Pauls or Apollos. So the first thing is to shift your focus to God. God will reveal things to you when you do. I will put them into categories for easy understanding.
First He will show you how to approach each woman in a holy manner that produces fruit of the spirit. Much of our relationships depend on our personality - the fruits of the spirit we walk in. For instance, when a person is full of integrity and faithfulness, it is difficult for any woman to make false allegations against him. Even if they do, it is easier to dispel it based on personal character and repute. Other women will speak out. So personal revelation and character building as God guides you is first.
Second is people. Identify people that God has given to help you for different purposes. Some cant pray much, but they may be useful to accompany you in visiting others. How do you deal with people? When a lady smiles at you, how do you respond? When you see seductive dressing, are you silent? All the other women and girls in the church are watching closely, whether you know it or not. And eventually the enemy will try to sow discord and pull people down. Are you discerning the attacks on the flock beforehand? Or being reactive? Are you discerning women with seductive spirits? Have you personally overcome seducing spirits?
Finally is policy - based on God's word, God's will. The policies and messages you preach and enforce in church will also go a long way. As you speak God's word in season, a lot of problems you are not aware of are removed. But always be clear with women about your intent. And also with the church. Transparency!
I hope this helps.

God bless you sir. This was what I was trying to tell the Op before he/she twisted the words by saying I should ask any pastor, that women... apart from that Samaritan woman who else did such. Women are wonderful tools in God's hands, likewise they are very useful and powerful tool and can be very handy for that Old serpent. I have been there, but praise be the Lord my testimony is intact. Run from them, they will keep coming. Then you will realize that Wisdom is profitable. ..

Yes, God's word grows a church but human agents are needed to publicise the church as seen in the story of John 4. The Samaritan woman went into the city and brought all the city men to Jesus, you see how it works. Seyi360

Ask any Pastor, he will confirm to you that women have greater influence on church growth than men. seyi360

Human input in growing the church cannot be ruled out. Besides, he who plants and the one waters, are they not human agent?

@ the bolded, I never disputed that from my early post, if you have read both very well. But in the second post, I kept hammering these words : ''Wisdom is profitable to direct.'' Reason being that as a pastor there are still some issues that you only will attend to.

You treat them like your younger sisters nah

1 Timothy 5:2
Treat older women as you would your mother, and treat younger women with all purity as you would your own sisters.

Yes, you are right. But even at this, wisdom is profitable to direct because some of them will still see such an act of your as away to be naughty. Once again, wisdom is profitable to direct. Congregation today is becoming more complex because the end is getting near. Hence, the devil has and will keep unleashing the Dragon in form of women to bring down the chosen who may be seeing that sister as her sister. But deep inside of her, she wants more. Once again I say, wisdom is profitable to direct.
Religion / Re: How Can A Pastor Show Christ-Love To Female Members Without Flirting With Them? by Dbeautyy(m): 12:11pm On Jun 07, 2020
seyi360:
A Pastor knows that the development of his local assembly rests on God and women. Women's influence on church growth is in no doubt.

Women are gifted with the subtle ability to multiply a congregation by word of mouth especially. Hence, a serious Pastor must take women's department seriously.

However, in the attempt to cater for them, he may be misinterpreted, misconstrued and misrepresented. Which raises the critical question.

How can a Pastor draw the line between genuine care for his female members and flirting with them?

@ the bolded, it is the engrafted word of God that grows church, not the subtle ability of any woman. If any man of God depends on such, those same women will bring down the same church with their subtlety when the pastor refuse to dance to their tune. But that should not stop him from handling thier department well. It may be through a trained female who will later report to the male pastor.

If this bird should die, then you can't escape cos this is pure wickedness... It's a pure breed of carnivore, how do you intend to feed? Can you hunt for mice? If not can you afford buying fresh fish even when you have not eaten?
Once again I say to you, that bird must not die. But if you are ready to be serious about taking up the responsibility you are good to go.
