so an increment from 18k to 30k is 67%? please work on your statistics. let me help you out and you must pay me . to calculate the increment is like this new minus old multiply by the old. therefore the percentage of increment is 30,000-18000 = 12,000. therefore 12,000\18, 000 = 0.4 percent incremental. please clap for me. the increment is 40 percent and not 67 percent

Even if you cut the fraction 12000/18000 to the lowest term you'll have 2/3 and that is 0.67

Not that if u are earning 1 million already ur boss must increase it because minimum wage has increased.

Thus those whose basic is less than 30 will enjoy 67% increase.

For those whose basic is more than #30k another round of negotiation might begin to determine the percentage increase the government will agree to pay.

Note the law says it's criminal to pay less than the minimum wage. Once government satisfied the law, then other increment is discretional...

Yes i Stay in Ibadan, and have taken Taxify a few times. Thou I have my personal car. Every time I take Taxify, I try to engage the drivers on what's up with the business , but so far it's been mixed reactions. So hopefully we may get more reviews on this thread where people can share there experience anonymously.

The last time I took Taxify from Mobil (Ring road) to Gbagi. I was charged 1700. Which I think is a fair deal especially on the driver side.

To some of us, the price is fair, but don't you think lots of people in Ibadan will consider it outrageous considering what they are used to (the almighty Micras and those buses) hence the reluctance in accepting it..

I know that less than #500 can take you through the same journey using bus or taxi..

Though taxify would have done some feasibility studies and must have seen some prospect in the city before embarking on such adventure. The problem is, I've been trying to figure out what could be their source of motivation and optimism

There are actually different plans for the comprehensive cover. Majority I saw had 3% as the basic/minimum percentage. You can check the Mansard website and see for yourself. It depends on if tracker is included as well as the excess buy back option.

Findings from enquiries I made from those who resides in Ibadan is not encouraging. Some have not even heard about taxify at all.
