I smell selfishness... why is it only the guys who didn't score high complaining?. this test was just as normal as the one for the previous years. I spoke with some guys that scored high last year and 95% of them prepared for their test wit cinfores/brainfriend software yet i didnt get d software cos i thougth things wil change tis year since many ppl knw about it.. No point calling anybody cheat or names. Truth be told, those guys who scored above 90 are smart guys and prepared verywell with the software.
I've learnt my lesson not to take anyting for granted but seriously te test wasn't so difficult, besides the cut off is not 90 so why all these careless comments am seeing here. I met the guy who scored 96 and believe me the guy is very sound, so stop killing yourselves over this issue. Let's just wait and see what happens next.. lets keep our fingers crossed and hope for te best.

No hard feelings, If i had seen dat software I would av scored above 90 too and I will confidently defend it. After all some ppl scored above 70 without any software.

I stand to correct a statement made by you that its only the non high scorers commenting...I stand to correct by saying I scored above 6o with the aid of God...but I still stand to correct cinfores mistake. But I support u in saying no1 should call these guys cheats.

true talk bro, they were smarter because Cinfores faulted and indirectly aided their brain friend customers, which is not these scholars fault who weren't expecting to get questions solved in the comfort of their home, set back for them verbatim in a supposedly standard test. Cinfore should learn from other foreign test bodies,;who also make test materials available to their students, but don't make the mistake to set them verbatim in the real exam...scholars that v written GRE and co can attest to this...No ill thoughts to these guys who did no wrong...cngrts guys...This is a high rated test that shouldn't be criticized like this, but just three editions and it is already faulty...this is not an ideal way of marketing a 9roduct...Just watch and see the mega sale brain friend will achieve next yr...All the best to us all.

If you read my earlier comment you'll see I was careful not to spell it out the way you just did. A guy told me about seeing the PRESSID questions for this year beforehand too but he didn't score that crazy, he had 79. High scorers last year were in the lower 80 range. This year guys scored everything. Brainfriend messed up PRESSID 2014 test for NUC.

yep I remember the guy...i understand brain friend was trying to promote their product, but they didn't do it in the right way...their materials should help give an idea of what the questions will look like, and not to be set verbatim.

Those guys had seen the questions before hand. A friend attested to that. It's ridiculous to answer 100 graduate-level questions at a rate of 36 seconds per question and complete them yet alone get almost all right. Fact.

yep, the guy that scored 92 told me same too..that he had seen most of the questions before in the brain friend stuff. while some were really cracking their brains to solve the questions and still beat time, they were busy just shading answers, thereby earning that crazy score...God dey

All glory to God for the test. However, I want to factually state that I saw two scores, 94 and 96, and I heard someone who said he scored 93. God will help us all.

Questions were majorly from brain friend kinda structure, current affairs not the common things...very tough exam,..just praying for favour..70-80% of questions were mathematical....few current affairs and English,

Any info whether waec still constitute 30%..i will still av arnd 21-23/30..but i don't think it is a good criteria due to malpractices.

Has PRESSID given out their criteria for final selection?...I wish they can just make the selection criteria open to all, to help clear this issue of 30% WAEC?...the previous edition guys talked about it, but were not sure...so is it now finally verified as a criteria?

why would it not be Do you think tests on quantitative reasoning will favour someone that studied microbiology or law over one that studied engineering 95% of the times, it WONT!!!! I will prefer a combination of both for the sake of Fairness!!!!

if u understand it that way...and if I should go with your theory, that also means verbal reasoning will not favor someone that studied engineering compared to someone that studied law or others non-mathematical field...Research has it that the best measure of general intellectual ability is to test one abstractly without knowledge of language or maths...PRESSID had incorporated that into the previous editions, like when they asked for road signs n co...cos it doesn't require any educational background to know that...and d quantitative aspect was mostly basic mathematics that everyone had been exposed to in GMat (in the words of our predecessors)... like i said earlier, am still keeping my fingers crossed to the flow of this year's edition.

hmmm...course based aptitude test won't be a good general test of knowledge for all...and won't be fair to all. it has to be general knowledge test like the previous editions...anyways keeping my fingers crossed.

I have just gotten another invitation email different from the previously sent one from NUC abt the aptitude test.The venue is Chams city PLC, Abuja...Who else has gotten his/hers...the time has been changed to 8a.m for me instead of the previous 10am...is it same time for all? or we r to write in batches?...

I will please like to know if the scholarship will still be valid for September 2016 admissions as most of the schools in the US require you to do gmat or gre and this will take some before the schools get the results. If one the , it be used September 2016 admissions?

This issue was treated by one of d past scholars...u can go tru d previous chats to clarify...But if I rem correctly, one of the quotes said it can be valid till then, but will likely not exceed that year (2016)...But I will advice u re-arrange ur schedule and create time to study and write the Gre n co sooner...

No...FG sponsors from M.Sc to PhD . If u v gotten ur M.Sc, u can apply directly for ur PhD , but if u haven't it will sponsor u for both.
