igbodefendercom: We are not the kind of people you bully, okay. We have had our sat, and that is final. Im not a bully... Just wondering how can a sane person say it's not necessary for Buhari to attend debates.... Like seriously can't he just tell us what he has done and what he intends to do in the debates? It's sad to support such rubbish. Buhari and his supporters feel Buhari is doing Nigerians a favour by being our President so he can decide to do whatever he likes. Makes no sense to any sane mind. |
Politics › Re: 2019: Buhari To Decide Participation In Presidential Debates - Presidency by Dcomrade(m): 10:19pm On Apr 10, 2018 |
igbodefendercom: President Buhari has a right to participate in debates or refuse to do so. There is no where in the constitution or in the electoral act where it is stipulated that a candidate must attend debates.
Giving the extraordinary circumstances our nation is facing, it is not inconceivable that Mr President may not be available for some or all debates.
This is whithout prejudice to our belief in debates as a constituent part of the electoral process. If you have nothing meaningful to say, just shut up and read comments of those that have reasonable things to say.
