Yungchukzy: Nice concept. not just the PDP but across the entire spectrum of Nigeria, it's high time the youths take the bull by the horn. Exactly...... |

omenka: PDP House of Hunger doing what they do best- #Wail.
None of my business though.
They can slap their elastic conscience to death for all I care. Don't get you actually, you people complained of PDP playing negative form of opposition, now the youth wing is abt to correct such act you are still complaining.... what do you want? Even Myndd4.4 engaged us constructively today. Can't we just address issues without playing politics with it and names calling? |
Politics › Re: Why PDP lost 2015 election and the necessity for an Online Directorate by Dcomrade(m): 12:05pm On Jul 20, 2016 |
Mynd44: I dont expect everyone to reason alike. I also do not expect the people supporters of a party look up to as youth leaders to be the ones engaging in mud slinging.
As for the APC, we are not talking about them, lets talk about fixing the social media image of the PDP as this thread is about and while at it, please seize Lere Olayinka's internet devices. That one is under his Oga.......he who pays the piper dictates the tone. So you don't want him to post pics of Fayose cutting fish as a replacement for development? I have my reservation abt Fayose form of governance, and some other governors too. |
Politics › Re: Why PDP lost 2015 election and the necessity for an Online Directorate by Dcomrade(m): 11:56am On Jul 20, 2016 |
Mynd44: i will love to see a better PDP, that raise arguements based on sensible issues and not the price of the president's shoes so yes, I want the sensible youths to represent the party more.
I still can't believe the PDP (allegedly) employed ayedee to help influence social media. That's what we are up to now.......we hope same from the progressives too and not just Photoshop of stolen money like Ayourb did. |
Politics › Re: Why PDP lost 2015 election and the necessity for an Online Directorate by Dcomrade(m): 11:53am On Jul 20, 2016 |
Mynd44: Take out Demola from that list. He is a friend of a friend, I know what he is about.
How many of those are popular enough? Seriously, I wonder what people were thinking when they make Deji head of New media and handed the PDP twitter account to him.
These handles you mentioned, can they counter the APC big guys pound for pound? Heck, they even brought up Breakingtimes and Trent to take it up several notches
2. The youths are only as good as those leading such youths. I see handles like @pdpnyf and I am impressed most times but how much of these youths that have wisened up follow or losten to them?
The day I knew it was lost was when PDP yoot(note the difference from youths) started praising militants blowing pipelines But you don't expect everyone in PDP to reason alike...we still have some even here on nairaland that condemn militants activities....... funny how you didn't see anything wrong when APC didn't even bother to support GEJ in his fight against Boko Haram, they even asked him not to call BH terrorist group. Well, most PDP supporters just want to play same form of opposition APC played, I won't blame them, though not the best anyway. |
Politics › Re: Why PDP lost 2015 election and the necessity for an Online Directorate by Dcomrade(m): 11:04am On Jul 20, 2016 |
Mynd44: Whol up whol up whol up
Didn't the PDP guys say and I quote "elections are not won on social media"?
The problem y'all have is not that you dont have enough youths handling your social media business, it is that the yoots handling the busines are really unprofessional and to be frank, not doing a good job.
Go on Twitter, the top PDP yoots are busy stroking the embers of ethno-religiois hatred and threatening people with violence.
Seriously, you have yoots like Deji Deyanju, DOluwasegun, Nedunaija, Ohimai (he ssid he resigned but yeah right) and the likes spewing bile everyday and you think you can win any poly religious or poly tribal election?
Did you guys forget how Former Vicer President Sambo said Vice President is a pastor and was going to "christianize" the country?
With every appointment the president makes, the same PDP yoots on social media go on a tribe seeking mission or a religion seeking mission and that goes on forever.
When have you seen someone like Ayourb or Jagbros talk about tribe or religion?
The problem is not the lack of youths, the problem is that the youths have turned into yoots and are too busy forming think tanks to use to spew bile.
You said the APC won because they engaged the youths more, but does the APC even have a youth wing or office? Have you seen or heard of such? But they were able to present their case with ease and sway voters.
The problem is not that no youth is involved in the decision process, it is that the youths are not potraying the party in good light. Heck, look at Bint Moshood, Muslim lady and able to hold her own and appeal to the young female Muslims, who does the PDP have?
What is the PDP's response to Ayourb? What is the response to Jagbros? None. Just a bunch of people spewing hate upandan social media.
Nuff said abeg, my fingers hurt
And come to Nairaland, goodness……it is choking.

Having used our resources and intellects to stand for the party, defend her ideals and still continue to do so, the only fair treatment we deserve is to be included in the scheme of things within the party, and to a large extent Nigeria. Is this too much to ask? |
