Romance › Re: After Suffering With Him, He Dumped Me...i'm Dying by ddim22: 11:12am On May 28, 2022 |
Gracelander: I never knew this is what heart break feels like, I'm shattered and broken.
I started dating him from 100 level till we graduated, it's been five years now. We suffered and passed through a lot together, I made a lot of sacrifices for him and even had two painful abortions for him.
But he always complained that I got fat and he liked slim girls, he broke up with me in the most excruciating manner. I noticed changes a few months back but he kept lying to me not knowing he was seeing another girl.
The girl chatted me up few days back to know her stand and I told her everything, he even posted pictures he had with the girl, this is someone that hates pictures and hardly takes one with me regardless of how much I beg. He doesn't even post his own pictures but he's already posting the girls pictures.
The girl is his spec and more attractive than me... I'm just ashamed of myself. The girl decided to stick with him even after everything I told her so she could leave him including the abortion part.
I've wished him well but I'm in serious pain, I've been crying for days now and unable to eat. I gave him everything, he was my first ever guy. I wish he could come back, I'm ready to forgive him.
How can move on from this heart break, it's killing me slowly. This heartbreak will surely "kill you"but you will "resurrect" as a new and different being, stronger and less loving. It's not possible for you to remain the same. |
Car Talk › Re: Ever Since I Bought A Mercedes Benz, It's Been One Trouble To Another by ddim22: 9:02am On Mar 23, 2022 |
raymondhillmimi: Lol, so why are you complaining of the billing if you aren't broke? You paid 30k to scan the car and you call it maintance bro you just fall your hand by yourself and not worthy to own a Benz.
That car will make you cough out over 2m a year on maintenance so believe me you haven't even started.
Yes I have enough money to buy a 20m car, it's not about taste but simple common sense. I don't need it, at least not at the moment, when am in the right environment where 20m benz is a normal ride then I'll buy it. If that car is attracting too much attention it means you are living in the wrong place to begin with and putting yourself in danger considering the security challenges in the country. If you are really a big boy and rich, relocate to places with 5m rent and this car will look like an ordinary taxi to everyone there. You are sapient. |

SmartProf: To sycophants & Abokkis, it's a hit song that should win the musician a Grammy. I expect NTA to make it their new theme song & the FG to seek a loan from China to further donate to this song. Sane Nigerians without infected ears, will prefer to listen to a cock consistently crow than such noise. The singer should not forget to feature those cows in Daura, if he really wants to excite the president. You deserve a cup of fresh palm wine. |

Where are the moderators in this section?. Why don't you close this tread. The comments here are inciting ethnic hatred and violence You shouldn't have allowed it to get this far. There are so many uneducated people here saying all sorts of rubbish here. In reality igbos and yorubas are not fighting and the argument about who owns the land in Lagos is a hare-brained argument. Lagos is yoruba land and not no man's land as some people say but Lagos being yoruba land does not mean that other ethnic groups living in Lagos do not have their rights. The igbos as well as other ethnic groups living in Lagos, working or doing business in Lagos have rights as tax payers and contributors to the economy of Lagos State. Let's all shun bitterness and hatred and be law abiding citizens in all our endeavors and live in peace and harmony. |

padeolu: Don't be a myopic and reason objectively. No one said u guys shouldn't vote. What we are saying is that you shouldn't endorse a candidate as "Igbo" candidate. how is that too hard for you to comprehend? You can do whatever you like when you are in your land, Lagos belongs to the Yoruba and you have to respect that as a fact. Look boy,go back to school and find something useful to do with your life.Your IQ is too low. |

padeolu: Agbaje is a Yoruba man, and the election is between Yoruba and Yoruba, why are you Igbos then poke nosing? It was wrong for the eze ndigbo to promised a block vote for a particular candidate when you know fully well that u are a guest in the land. Are you educated at all?Dont you know that every body in Lagos is entitled to vote no matter their tribe? And since you have admitted that it is between yoruba and yoruba, what do you have against your brother Agbaje? |

padeolu: What was the purpose of eze ndigbo (lagos) meeting with Oba Akiolu?
Who were those that clapped while Akiolu made the curse?
Are the Igbos' fair in their doings in lagos? Why should an eze ndigbo openly state that all igbos will vote for Agbaje? Can any tribe ever do that in Igbo land?
What will we all gain should war ensue? Is Agbaje an igbo man?Is he not a yoruba man like you?So why will voting for Agbaje be seen as voting against yoruba. This contest is between PDP and APC and not Igbo VS Yoruba.Leave the igbos alone. They are not your problem. The wisemen know this. |

I think this story is about you and not your friend. But how could you sleep with a woman just 3 days after the demise of her hubby. If you had been caught people will suspect you of conniving with the woman to kill her husband. |

berem: abi o! convicts steal billions and are pardoned not to talk of armed robbers who steal in small amounts. Presidential pardon is all they need. Why do you guys in this forum always talk like fools when things like this happen.Stop comparing misapprophation of funds by our leaders to armed robbery. There is no excuse for armed robbery and you can not compare the assault and battery coupled with the fear they put in people and killings during operation. Looting the treasury is a crime quite alright but compared to armed robbery,it is a lesser crime. It is not about how much is stolen but the means used in stealing the money..If this armed robbers come to your house will you still hold brief for them. |

Nobody should compare this to what happened it ALUU.Those students were innocent men that were lynched for a crime they did not commit. But armed robbers are demonic being, they should not be spared at all.Anybody caught redhanded in armed robbery should be killed immediately to deter others.Mind you, there is a difference between armed robbery and ordinary stealing.Though both of them are thieves but the former is dangerous and a threat to peoples life.So if you catch a thief and he or they are not armed with gun or knife or machete, you can beat him a little then take him to the police. But when a thief is caught with gun or knife or machete or any other dangerous weapon, that thief must be killed immediately before the police comes. |

velo10: Where was the Nigerian Police when the thieves were robbing and terrorizing the area? To stop jungle justice police has to prove efficiency. God bless you for this comment.Unless the police become efficient, jungle justice will never stop.If the police can come to the rescue of residents when they are called, then the people will have faith in the police. But what we have is a police force that habitually gives flimsy and fake excuses why they can not come to a place when robbery is going on.The people have no choice but to protect themselves by killing any armedrobber caught. |

berem: When you seize okadas and expect the riders whom most of them have wives and children to cater for to become jobless, isn't that pure wickedness? How could fashola be so mean? Why didn't he give them warning first or make a deadline? Seems he doesn't know the consequences of what he did. Armed robbery, ritual killing etc will surely be on the rise! He has no idea of how many people he has rendered jobless.smh Okada riders are not the first people whose business was affected by govt. policies. Many sectors of our economy like banking etc, have been hit by govt. policies before and people lost their jobs in their thousands. Why didnt they become armed robbers.Losing ur job is not a justification for you to go into crime. It is not today that unemployment started in the country or any where in the world. The okada riders can look for another business to engage themselves in,and they are lucky they have been working before so source of capital for a petty business will not be a problem because they have a little money they have saved.I am saying this as an advice to this okada riders because the govt. of a land is an authority ordained by God.If their policies disturb your business, look for a way out that will not break the law. |
Crime › Re: Robbers Invade Alade Market In Lagos, Kill 1 by ddim22: 5:12pm On Oct 24, 2012 |
mukina2: ONE person was, on Tuesday evening, shot dead as robbers invaded Alade Market in Ikeja, Lagos.
Many people were also injured in the stampede that ensued, as people around the scene of the robbery incident scampered for safety.
The robbery attack occurred around 6.00 p.m on Tuesday, when traders and workers around the market were closing for the day.
The victim, identified as Tijani, one of the bureaux de change operators at the market, was shot by the robbers when he attempted to escape.
Nigerian Tribune gathered that the robbers, who invaded the market in a fully loaded bus, carted away millions of naira after their operation.
An eyewitness told the Nigerian Tribune a gang of about eight men jumped out of a bus and started shooting sporadically in front of the market.
The robbers reportedly continued the shoot-out until the road and some parts of the market had been completely deserted.
“After everyone had scampered for safety, the robbers ransacked some of the bureaux de change offices in the market and made away with local and foreign currencies,” the eyewitness said.
Efforts to get the image maker of the state police command, Ngozi Braide, to react to the incident failed, as calls put through to his mobile phone were unanswered
A policeman at Ikeja police station, however, blamed the bureau de change operators for the robbery which, according to him, would have been prevented by the police.
The policeman, who pleaded anonymity, said the operators kicked against the deployment of policemen to the market by the area commander.
http://tribune.com.ng/index.php/news/49717-robbers-invade-alade-market-in-lagos-kill-1 This armed robbers have done this operation now and succeeded in stealing people's hard earned money and even killed a man by the name tijani...A man going about his legitimate business. The secret supporters of armed robbery here on nairaland will not say anything now, they will not talk about tijani, who was killed by the armed robbers. But when they are caught now and burnt alive, some idiot will come here and try to justify their crime by saying its the economic situation of the country that led them into armed robbery.I dont know where they studied their own economics that teaches them that if one lacks money he should go into armed robbery. The police could not catch them, but one day a community will catch them with charms or whatever and they will be burnt alive. |
