How can any sensible human being be pro-poverty

How many petty traders has trademoni taken out of poverty and that’s the issue

The programme is not an upward Mobility programme it is not the kind of social interveythat drags anyone out of poverty

It was designed to keep the poor as poor people for ever so that those on the corridors of power can continue to claim to love the poor when all they are is pro-poverty
hey, stop dis.

PoliticsRe: El-rufai Tells Lagosians How To Defeat Godfatherism by debaj10: 3:56pm On May 06, 2019
Ratello:
The Governor also lamented the quality of leaders in the country, stating that Nigerian leaders are the least qualified with questionable qualificiations.

“In most of the developed worlds, the best and the brightest are in politics and public service. I urge you to google the profiles of the captains of the USA, UK, Japan, China and Singapore over the last 10 years and compare their educational and experience profile with ours; you will understand why we are where we are.

“In Nigeria, we have people that never went to school in our National Assembly. We have people with questionable qualifications as state governors. We will go nowhere as long as our best and brightest people that sit in rooms like this, are not in politics or public service."

You can think or say whatever you want. Buhari didn't elect himself, Nigerians did. The funny thing is, he is yet to start his next tenure. So I urge you to sit back, relax and enjoy the ride till 2023. When power will shift to the South South and Amaechi might become our next President.
its ur prerogative to refuse to answer.

RomanceRe: Relationship failure in d North by debaj10: 2:26am On May 06, 2019
Quality20:
Well this is just my personal observation and I hope I'm right. Having stayed most of life in d north , I have come to observe that hausa men don't really and necessarily go for highly educated working class hausa women. You see d men befriend the women at school or at work, but that's only the much it goes. When it comes to marriage, the Hausa guys value those young teenage secondarians more than these hausa ladies with bsc, msc, mbbs, llm, phd or whatever qualifications. Even hausa traders and merchants also hardly go for these educated independent women. At the end of the day, these educated and carrier minded ladies are left for very late marriages- some don't even get married at all, others end up been second, third or fourth wives of some less educated business men or they arrange marriages with their drivers or other domestic guys who may even have a first wife already.
Right now, all over major cities of d north, we have successful career women with porch houses and rides in their late 30s, 40s and 50s who have never been married for a single day. They are been let down by their fellow colleagues and mates who look beyond them and go for teenagers. I do hope and sincerely too that this trend of educated hausa men not considering their fellow educated hausa women change so we won't have a major social problem in our societies.
In the meantime, I would like to advise fathers to at least get their daughters engaged b4 sending them for higher educational qualifications ,if they can't get married before going for further studies. That way the men won't feel intimidated that the ladies are so highly qualified or educated ,because they got engaged while still less educated .Also the ladies won't easily look down on the men, since they would have now known each other for long and respected each other well. It's a known fact among men that once women acquire more educational qualifications and careers they become extremely difficult to impress and will in most cases look down on the men or see themselves as some kind of equals
based on ur theory, the ladies have just 3 viable options…
