decatalyst:most people are terrified to ask or reveal their past. na our forming cos am, cos e supoz b small mata- aftarol, prostitute sef dey mari. d guy was in a family home. how does that make him a mummy's boy? what's wrong with getting help from family till u find ur feet? should he have spent his meagre resources on rent and utilities, when there's accommodation in a family home/compound? this is actually how our ancestors lived, grew and blossomed. in d 2008 recession, men of over 50 yrs of age lost businesses, jobs, lost houses and moved back to their parent's homes that they left at 18-25 yrs of age. today, they're better off, wiser and well to do- d only constant is change, so current conditions will pass. we need d man's story to have a balanced view, but why would a man turn against his wife- whose every action was under his parents'/family's scrutiny? d story is incomplete. but she has a degree, kids and understanding parents. things may look bleak, but a shift in focus- from her sorrows to providing for her kids- will help. life will get better. |
HighKing01:r u dense? u just threatened 2 people with grievous bodily harm- on a public forum.. ur stupidity is one in town. better clarify dt its a joke, lest u destroy ur future out of 'notice me'. nonsense. |

"baby when are we getting married?" as culled from- https://www.nairaland.com/4223805/wouldnt-been-married-wife-didnt Ladies if you have been dating a man for a year or close to a year, you have EVERY right to ask him "when are we getting married?" Two things will happen; it's either he gets pissed or both of you will work on a date immediately. In my own case we picked a date and by the end of 2013 we had our court wedding and by February 2014 we were married.Source; https://www.nationalhelm.co/2017/12/wife-asked-crucial-question-got-married-nigerian-man- |

diablos:whether ur correct is a matter of conjecture- unless u have hard evidence? my question is, what has d south done with it's allocations? trains? ports? pipeborne water? industries? power generation? govs could've asked flared gas to be used to power their states. or bought barges to transport imports and exports inland by water. or bought desalination plants for water. so? what have they to show for billions each month? is it success' rundown school? |
GavelSlam:I once watched a documentary where western biz guys were buying west African tobacco at 50 cents per bale. african govts r lazy and her people r deliberately, WILLFULLY ignorant. isok, Jesus will coman rescue dem. |
we're all now aware that dangotes petrol and other products will sell at international prices. we'll save a tiny bit from shipping costs. but prices will likely range from 180-250/ litre. when u factor in fall of naira, inflation and sanctions on Iran- these prices will increase by 5-15%. these are all short term. but a recent report on Reuters says the refinery might be delayed till 2022. if true, are Nigerians prepared to wait another 3 years to stop importing petrol? or is it time to demand d revamp or sale of the refineries? only citizens can decide for themselves… 3-5 yrs from now, oil prices will start a steady, irreversible, downward trend. - of course, with sharp peaks along d way. - is will happen, whatever the situation with dangote's refinery. - once his comes online, it will speed up the process. why? renewable energy gaining market share. electric cars and end of fossil fuel engine production. improved battery storage technologies. innovations in carbon/graphite energy. so Nigeria's youths have decisions to make: continue to ignore ur refineries, or use them before they become obsolete? go the way the world is trending- making electric cars, or continue to live in denial? direct energies and demand govt focus on other forex revenue sources, or wait till oil is $20-30/barrel? pay attention to governance and accountability, or leave pensioners to rule and ruin ur futures? na only kweshun I ax o. ![]() |
stonemasonn:bros, pls go and quote people who're as ignorant as u. getting a license comes b4 getting permit to build. then u get permit to construct. go and educate urself on when he got his license. maybe u'll learn something new today. |
9jaRealist:sir, go to nairametrics and read about it. however they came into possession, dangote was the chairman. it failed under him. simple. despite taking over, he's selling in less than 3 years. whatever excuses u make for his sale, people have lost money due to d confidence they placed in him. enough of defending wrong. wen 9ja youths go len? |
lol do u know how many refineries r in Africa? so they and others worldwide will clear road for him, abi? and if u think 24/7 power will happen after ur lifetime, I say avoid cursing urself. Gerrard59:go and find out when dangote started building, k? Nigeria can do with one less ignorant bigot. stonemasonn: |

mknigeriagreat:that refinery will break him. d flour mill was owned by a south African company, Target, I think. they used him as a front and made him chairman. they removed him and gave his daughter director. they later dumped it. I'm sure he was gloating when he bought it off them for small change. … by 2040 most western nations would have stopped producing fossil fuel engines. once Iran and US ramp up production, prices will crash. so year on year, world consumption is dropping. Nigeria currently has 2-3 oil tankers on d high seas, without any buyers for our crude. meanwhile, our present (high) consumption is actually based on smuggling and less than 5% required power generation. imagine Nigeria with adequate, 24/7 power supply! who will u sell petrol and diesel to? |
Lordofthewest:lol ur funi Lagos failed to tackle mere refuse and litter, how much more pipeborne water. yet ur beating ur chest. yesterday's front page, another story of mayhem in Lekki area. Nan Da Shekara Biyar Matasa Za Su Iya Hana Mu Fita – Dangote "Over the next 5 years, Kano youths may stop the rich and powerful from coming out of their houses due to poverty and employment. It is that bad, and it cuts across the country. About a year and half ago, I was at the Jumma'at mosque in Abuja. I dressed in a way I thought will hide my identity. Still, a young man shouted, 'Dangote!' Before you know it about a 1000 youth surrounded me. It took help for me to get to my car. We must do something about the rate of unemployment". - Alhaji Aliko Dangote Paraphrased translation. The statement made at same event, in DBS, BUK, where Professor M. Sagagi said there were about 3.5m unemployed youths in Kano. Now, think of your state, especially in the North and see if you are any better. _____ https://hausa.leadership.ng/2019/04/22/nan-da-shekara-biyar-matasa-za-su-iya-hana-mu-fita-dangote/?fbclid=IwAR14Xa29-yb_mWnXtfk-If0ixeAPaBTXWAfUt7LJMOspXuCju11bSkX33yc Credit: Hassan Mohammed |
