Sack Wenger, he is clueless, old man, old ideas, he does not sign, stingy coach, he should sign locozade, beansima, and akpos.
Where are all the wailing wailers? They should come out now OR!

All this because of a pre-season game? Do you remember what happened to the Northern Scum last season? cheesy

I need Wenger to sign a striker. . . .even if it's not the 'world class' player we'd benefit from having another one in the team. Starting the season with only one (regularly) fit striker in Giroud isn't good enough.

I also agree we need more goals from the likes of Ozil, Walcott, Cazorla, Ramsey and Oxlade.

Good to see y'all keeping this thread alive.

Personally we only really need one more signing this summer and it has to be a 15-20 goal a season striker. Welbz is still finding his feet and Sirnogo...ahmean Sanogo still has a lot of development ahead of him.

I do hope the likes of Walcott and Sanchez stay fit, as their goal contribution could remove the need for an additional striker, but I don't think it's realistic to rely on them for the whole season.

I disagree with Proudly mentioning DD and Remy for Chelski - how many goals did they score last season? The key I agree was failing to score in those draws vs Chelski and the Scumtwats from Manchester and some other games we drew unnecessarily.

We also didn't get enough goals from midfield, bar Sanchez. We need the likes of Rambo to chip in with similar numbers as he did in 2012/13.

I guess henry was home grown
Heck...even Petit, Vieira, Wiltord, Seaman,Pires were all home grown

Lets even add Dennis Bergkamp

So lets not sign and keep focusing on home grown players so we dont spend unneeded money on signings who will wear the team and destroy it structure

yay

E be like say this bros nor understand English - the boy was talking about depending ONLY on signings, he didn't say don't depend on signings at all.

Misplaced sarcasm. . . .not for the first time either!

On a positive note. . . .warm welcome to Petr Cech. In my opinion if we're to sell we should sell WS not DO.

How do you measure creativity? Assists? Key passes? Assist to the assist?

Depends on how exactly you measure it - if it's the latter, I'm sure Ozil will feature highly. If it's pure assist numbers I suspect Santi is top of the pack.

If it's grit, determination and all round play, then I'd go for Ramsey out of the three you listed.

See elampiro writing epistles with a thousand reasons why United lost eh?

I don't know why folk are talking about Carrick - if you managed 80% possession without him, how/why was he missed? Or is Carrick now the person who scores the goals for y'all?

Like I said Van Hag should get his head checked if he truly believes the 'bad start' is the only reason y'all didn't win the league. His case has worsened from self deception to outright delusion. grin grin

Lemme break it down for u in the Layman's language u can best understand:

Nah don't bother, your efforts are better directed ad learning how to spell. I wouldn't understand the garbled gobbledygook you're spewing anyway. cheesy cheesy

Did u not say 'U beat us in league position and trophies ladt season'. So judging by u Arsenal is better than United coz of that??

Erm. . . yes - how else do you measure club performance except by final league position and trophies won? Or do you prefer number of letters in your name and stadium capacity? grin grin

Like i said small club mentality. U mates are winning league and UCL but u re happy with fourth place and FA Cup....Issok!

No small club mentality here - simply stating facts. We bested you last season and are on course to do so again, while you are guaranteed to run two seasons without winning even a pin. If you nor like am, stick sharpened needles in your distended eyeballs. cool cool

Do you think league table positions are given out for free? Why do teams

U said 'The last 100 yrs doesn't count. Only the present'. Dat means u saying the past is irrelevant and all the players are playing for and ve played for is irrelevant. And yet u pointed out the fact that 'We beat u in league position and trophies'. So tell me isn't dat a thing of the past. U see how Stewpid and ridiculous u just made urself??

Nah, you've revealed the depth of your peerless idiocy. Last season counts so far as the current season's results are not final. If someone asks you - who is the FA cup holder? The answer is it is currently Arsenal so it's not in the past.

SailorXY can you take this tyro and get him schooled? He seems to lack even basic comprehension not to talk of reasoning faculties. grin

if u tink moving from 4th 2 2nd isnt progress then i guess i dont really know the definition of progress then. If u tink our injury form has reduced drastically and players getting fitter isnt progress then tink again. If u tink competition 4 places isnt intense and the squad depth is the best in epl and dat retaining an fa cup with a good standing in the epl log coupled with more goals scored and less goals conceded cant give you optimism for next season, then, u nid to dig deeper and truly see what progress really means and know that our club is steadily and rightly moving to the right direction.

Excellent response ma'am. Quality ladies have always been a part of this crew since day 1.

Ur lvl of reasoning is shallow bruh. In ur own words, its a good thing then the EPL started last season right

In my own words? When did I say the EPL started last season? Or are you exhibiting signs of terminal lunacy?

The last hundred yrs of football in English and EPL history counts for nothing because Arsenal finished 4th and won their 1st trophy in 9 yrs? In ur own words, u only just justified why people call Arsenal a small and mediocre club for celebrating 4th place. UCL qualifications seems to be ur clubs goals every season. Arsenal!

No it doesn't count, because we're not talking about 100 years, we're talking about right now. If you're too thick to comprehend that then say so.

The only club to lead the league from August to March only to drop to their precious 4th in the space of two months. Ur mates are busy plotting how they'd win the league and Champions League, but u're busy drinking ur celebration coolades for finishing 4th and winning the FA Cup. Ok. Little wonder Mourinho considers both Arsenal and Wenger a failure.

Even the 4th place and FA Cup was beyond your mighty club, so why shouldn't I rub it in your wretched face?

The whole world knew United were gon suffer after SAF's exit. And we were rightly disgraced in all measures last season. But if u cant acknowledge that for a team which goes abt its business winning titles every season finishes 7th and then goes abt finishing in a Champions League spot the ffg season bcoz u cant see past ur hate, then u're a true definition of whats wrong with this country. So forgive me if i want more than Champions League qualification for my team every season.
Yes we ll be trophyless dis season. But if u win the FA Cup this season, it doesn't add or remove anything from United. But if u lose, well we'll all be here to......LMAO at ur useless joke of a club.

Ridiculous excuses - one would think SAF left with all the football playing nous at United leaving behind crippled players to take over. Y'all are a mess and there is no excuse - especially not after spending £200m on waste men players.

Stand up and take your pain like a man and stop trying to weasel out - your club was shyte last season and is shyte this season compared to Arsenal. If you can't handle that, get yourself tied to the nearest Iroko tree and bathed with a thousand soldier ants. cool

And it should annoy u even more that u're the synonynm for Stewpidity and Id*ocy. If Arsenal are regarded as a Top English and European team and u call finishing 4th every season tangible, then u must be even more stewpid than u look. UCL qualification was/has never been the sole target at United.

Who cares what your 'target' is? Fact is, we beat you both in league position AND trophies last season.

Yes we could finish 4th dis season, but considering how last season turned out, this season is an improvement. And nxt season we raise the bar higher and set out to achieve higher standards.
Congrats on ur final. If u win it, good for u. If u dont, well.....Lool! cheesy

See this mumu - you're happy you're simply finishing higher than last season and shouting 'improvement' eh? But you're arguing with a team that won a trophy last season and will likely win another one next month?

Who gives a flying Bleep about your standards? If you like state winning Nigerian Premier League as your standard - what matters is what you achieve in the end, and this season it's certain the best you'll achieve is be trophyless.

As I said before, if you can't take it go and take a running jump into Ogunpa River while holding on to a 11kVA cable. cool cool

It annoys me when Arsenal fans come out and think they ve anything tangible they can troll us with. Yes life after SAF hasn't been easy. A terrible 1st season and a significant improvement in the 2nd season and u think we re mates? U think we re like u who settle for fourth every season and celebrate like u won d league afterwards? Thats a small club mentality. Lool. Ur brain is just as small as ur club

It should annoy you that you are f00lish.

Winning a trophy and qualifying for the CL is tangible while you finished trophyless and far below us is tangible.

Being ahead of you in the table with a final in view while you're struggling to keep 4th and no chance of a trophy is tangible.

If you don't like it go and drink otapiapia and hug a transformer while you're at it. cool
