TroGunn: The "Lord" there is not Jesus, but his father Jehovah/Yahweh. You do realise that in some Bible translations, the name of God (pronounced Yahweh or Jehovah) is substituted by translators to "Lord" or "LORD" (in caps), following dubious Jewish traditions.

Here are other quotes of Exodus 15:3, where God's name is not replaced.
World English Bible - Yahweh is a man of war. Yahweh is his name.

Young's Literal Translation - Jehovah is a man of battle; Jehovah is His name.

TroGunn: Biblically, it appears Jesus is indeed the Archangel Michael. No sentiments needed.

Jesus is God's foremost messenger, leads angels and is reported as performing exact same action as Michael. Being the Archangel (or Chief of angels) does not demean Christ in any way.
