Messi's career is more of a blessing than a curse. Messi is not the problem. The problem started when Barca's coaches couldn't adopt new tactics while still bringing the best out of Messi. It's just that the tactics has been found out since 2017. It was one of the main reasons why Neymar left in the 1st place. I remember very well the case of Paulinho. Dude came and scored 7 goals in his 1st 10 games for us. By the time he understood the tactics, he regressed massively.

Big teams feared us then. Our home was a fortress. Now camp Nou isn't dependable anymore.
