Its you that's being ignorant. In some ways, he's right.

I keep saying this repeatedly: Don't buy your phone or camera using Dxomark. It gives a general idea as to which have the best cameras but it's NEVER accurate on the overall best. Why?

1) Dxomark is a benchmark website, just like Antutu. It uses algorithms and controlled situations/places to produce results. This is not so in the real world where lighting, chromatic aberration, high contrast and metering will distort the pictures.

2) Check the sub scores under the overall score like AF, Zoom, etc. You'll see plenty inconsistencies. A Note 8 with a better overall score won't have better sub scores than the first pixel. This is spread throughout their tests. How then do they get their overall score? By using calculator. Isn't that laughable?

3) Most of the phones with great Dxomark scores get reviewed before it gets announced. Dxomark therefore gets paid by the OEMS. The most interesting thing however since the scores are available prior to announcement, these phones cameras are adjusted to pass Dxomark's algorithms. Samsung, Apple, Google and Huawei make up the bulk. Now, Xiaomi has joined them.

But LG V30 hasn't gotten a review or will get a low score like Nokia if reviewed.

4) Canon and Fuji have proven over the years that Dxomark doesn't translate to real life. A Canon 6D (score 81) will have better image quality and less noise in high ISOs than a Nikon D610 (score 94). This is one example and believe me there are many.


P20 pro hasn't been released out there or reviewed for it to be crowned. The regular p20 has the same sensor as mate 10 pro but the Dxomark is showing a wide margin. That's suspicious...

In summary, Dxomark is the photo version of Antutu. All numbers but less real life interpretation.

Go read on the reasons why the Face ID was maneuvered. You have Google but you instead chose to be ignorant. Spoiler alert, Face ID wasn't well set up on those phones.

Hacked by many? Who's this guy? Face ID is more accurate than fingerprint or iris scanner. You think it's to use someone's finger to unlock a phone while sleeping is what we're talking about? Or lift a print from a mug? If you haven't used the iPhone X Face ID, enter a store and see how good it is.

Apple didn't invent the notch I agree but they are the leading power consumer. Some of their implemented features become popular and get adopted by other OEMs including Samsung. Which phone brand will follow Essential and Sharp to do notch?

It's after Apple did, other brands went crazy with the concept. Same as Touch ID, dual cameras, headphone jack removal, etc...
