brother, the main character doesn't have to be the strongest, refrences to other manga named after the main character e.g Toriko, u just need to be open minded about such things bro. Now what I find wrong with this list is that; 1st it has people on it whom we never saw fight and only "heard" of their strength (indra, asura, sosp and sosp's brother) what's the point of them being there? The other problem is including those guys who are already dead but fought and didn't have the limitations they'd have if they were alive. Asides that no probs, fair list. There seem to be very few crossovers in animes, the few I have seen are one piece and dragonball, and toriko and one piece if u have seen any anime or manga crossovers let me know.

At least you use songs people recognise I use odd songs for now I use Nana - He's coming, at other times I've use tchaicovsky's Nutcraker, Sean price's Pyrex and R.A the ruggedman and J-live's - Give it up, Snoop Dogg's Boss's life amongst others. Anytime my phone rings with these songs some people look around. Use whatever song u wish except u are going for an interview. I also use Tears of pain by Mode9 a lot.

his 1st battle against shickibukai Dracul "hawk eye" Mihawk, it wasn't exactly a battle though, just check the Baratie arc you'll understand. His best fights are all pre haki, with haki the guy seems untouchable.

I hated the preferential treatment accorded Elric. I mean he gives a gagging speech to Mustang on why he shouldn't kill Envy yet he goes and tears Homunculus in a bottle into shreds and everyone claps.

The anime was too childish, full of teenage angst and shyt like that. I respect Berserk and Black Lagoon cos they didn't try to use all mighty emotions to turn people.

FYI Hunter X Hunter, makes FMA look pathetic

why I do not agree with you that FMA brotherhood is too childish is because, people died like mad, and that one law of equivalent exchange was upheld, the only special treatment the main characters (who were children) got was they were able to do alchemy without alchemic circles and not because their father was from some legendary tribe and created the 1st homonculus, and they like guts in beserk and the main guy in gantz where targeted by their "employees". For me FMA showed that an adventure anime could have a tenth the high level political trash that was posed forward in Desu nosu.

lessons from FMA BH; absolute power kurrupts, and as in all animes friends are important. Now dats the lessons here is the intrigue, the politics; rivalled only (for me) by SnK, Claymore and Beserk in basic politics and conspiracy the story behind Pride and his Father (general Bradley) and their father the 1st Homonculus, and the other generals of amesteris, is wow I mean the anime is rich. About the first one there is no significant connection to brotherhood I.e its not like a season 1 season 2 thing, I could as well say they are two different animes, major similarity is the elric brother's father, the homonculus', the law of equivalent exchange and yes FMA (the 1st 1) had details of the state alchemist exams.

Based on chinese martial art styles, quite the story too, but if you want others that could be in the popular section you'll have: feng shen ji, ao no exorcist, beelzebub, shingeki no kyojin, one piece, fairy tail, Nobleese, One punch man, Ability, Gants, Beserk, Claymore, hunter x hunter and much more. Not shingeki no kyojin aka AOT/SnK has probably the worst art work I have ever seen so it takes a lot of guts to stick to the manga, but the story rivals others.

Best series I've watched in awhile

brother most of the people who started this thread didn't expect it to turn out like this. What really thrills me is the politics behind it all, it feels so real. The mexican is about to get some real vampire killing gear with training attached, now dats on some vampire hunter sh..I,!t
