How long does it take to get a Business Name approved?

1. Successfully reserved a Business Name on December 14, 2020.
2. Successfully uploaded the required documents and clicked "submit" on December 15.
3. Status shows "Pending Approval" on the main CAC portal.
4. Visit to the docupload portal shows "Processing" beside each of the four submitted documents.

The duration of the Business Name application is dependent on the pickup state you chose. But do not worry, as long as the docupload portal is showing processing, then you are in line to get a feedback.

The fact here is that any name approval initiated by a presenter will always have name history, it is the record of the name reservation. While the change name option is for those who wish to change or correct the approved name. Though, the process of name correction or change is more than that.
