Culture › Re: Ibegwu: Wife Infidelity Kills Husband In My Village by decub: 4:47pm On Oct 09, 2025 |
Meedon: As a man if you marry from my village there are things you need to be wary of and your wife committing adultery is one (the most important). If your wife commit adultery and you heard about it but did not care to do anything about it. My brother, your stomach would swell up and you would die. Sicknesses would attack your body, you wither and die abruptly without wasts of time. My ancestors (Ibegwu are very active here) kill anyone that is a victim of wife cheating.
Another one is if you lick your wife or girlfriend private part, you are also in trouble unless you perform some sacrifices to appease the ancestors (Ibegwu). I have seen many women run to the village to perform this sacrifice to the ancestors. One girl did for 2 times. The third time, the Ibegwu asked her to bring goat instead of the normal cock that is required.
This is just a warning to men who want to marry from my village. If you want to live long run to the village and perform the required sacrifices when noticed that your wife is playing away march if not otilor is your case.
We have so many rules which if you go against you would see shege from the Ibegwu's but this one is the most common amongst the folks in the village. If you as a wife no fit deh faithful to your husband, the result must show. Arochukwu has similar thing. |

He should have ran out immediately she poured him the petrol and look for help than waiting for her to strike the matches. Save your life first then deal with her later.
Omo, no dey underrate anybody o. See that shinkini girl kill an whole soldier. A military officer run from a woman? Impossican't! I don't think that petrol was poured in the course of the arguement because the man would have been prepared for any eventuality. Probably when he was sleeping |

helinues: Rufai can't be rude to people and be thinking he's always right. His question is not logical.
When you budget for a road project, there are unseen things in the initial plans, that's why the budget is always over estimated
For example, there are new linking roads to the Lagos Calabar coastal highway which wasn't in the initial plan In as much as I am not a fan of Rufai, I could exempt his ignorance of what is obtainable in the construction industry since it's not his field. That said, Umahi could have answered the question intelligently by teaching him the ABCs and made it seem like he (Rufai) should have known. That's the best way to outsmart unintelligent questions. |

Remember they won City and drew T'ham. C Palace has been resilient since Eze left. Guess they want to prove a point. R Madrid defense is one of the worst among the big teams across Europe and Arnold's injury is really giving them a blow. Courtois really saved them a bunch Man U, your guess is as good as mine especially when Brentford had to play their former talisman. Summary, I enjoyed watching some of the games but avoided them. #oxymoron. |

Heard of it and when I contacted their sales rep in Nigeria, he couldn't give a convincing detail and they don't have a website to get some detailed info. |

Ntigha: Post by passenger has contradicted what the public was made to believe in the incident involving Ibom Air cabin crew and a passenger a passenger posted online what actually happened
According to a post by a passenger Tunde Ibrahim the Cabin crew got physical with the lady first by pushing her to her seat when she tried to get down after the aircraft landed.
“ I was on boardIt was the crew member that resisted the lady from coming down because of put off phone ar no put off phone. The lady told the crew that her phone was already on flight mode After landing they refused to allov the lady from coming down saying they have called the airport securi to pick her up. Infact they push the lady back on seat for many of us to pass” Truth is, when an airline staff or purser tells you to switch off your phone, they mean turn it off. You don't expect them to pry and determine it's on flight mode. I have uncountless times seen passengers put their phones on flight mode when the express instruction is to turn it off. We are just some difficult set of people and 1hr flight without operating your phone (which is without Internet or wireless connection anyway) can't hurt you. And for the purser who blocked her, that was the height of risk. How can you back someone that is already agitated all in the name of delaying her for security personnel to come? She could have done something nasty that could endanger your life. |

This is too much technology The likelihood of that car running over a child, and by extension any other object is by far less than when it's human driven. Saao: Please nlders, what kind of skin disease is this? It happens to my 4 years boy. What can be done about it? Most times, those anti fungal and anti viral creams like Tidyneal heal this kinda skin infections. However, if you have tried creams without success, you might need to identify the kind of infection first and the best way is dermatological test, talking to people who may have experienced such in the past. Avoid the normal antibiotics prescription until you understand the kinda infection. I have once spent over 35k on antibiotics on scabies that 2k cream eventually cured. In fact, I had to disagree with the pharmacist when he further recommended additional antibiotics worth 15k |

Travel › Re: Burkina Faso: The Journey Of No Return by decub: 10:32am On Nov 24, 2024 |
sonofanarchy: Continuation....
This girls heading across the border should be 16, 17 at most 18 I saw them wearing hijab. So I asked one of them, where are they heading to, she said with a thick Igbo accent, "Mali" I said okay, so I asked what are you going there for? She replied "supermarket job" I was perplexed at such offer to travel all the way from Nigeria, when there's so many good paying sales attendant jobs in pH or Abuja. And she followed up with an assurance to convince me she's on the right track, "the job, they will pay in dollars and my cousin already paid for my transportation, when I work, he will deduct from my salary" seems this one has been brainwashed. Make I face my own problem .
At this point, the red flags was all over, I said to myself, dude, we're being trafficked by different syndicates. I've made this journey so far, I have to finish and see what the end will be.
Exactly 4:45pm Usman our driver drove into the park, he has finished with the documentation and license plate issue. He said with his broken English, "money finish, take bike and... Immediately I cut in, Usman I'm not taking any bike, enough of all this hide and seek, I have a passport, if you can not drive me along, give me my balance I will take a bus to my destination. I didn't care if he understood or not but he understands I was angry and wasn't taking any bike. So he replied " take bike you dodge police but if you say you enter, you keep money for bribe, 2,000 CFA. I said no problem I will pay just start moving, I was already exhausted, remember it's my 4th day on the road no good sleep.
The other guy also joined me, but the lady didn't have money to pay so she took bike that will cut across police check point.
I want to briefly say, Nigerian police is the best compare to this francophone countries police. From Benin to Togo to Burkina Faso, their police are 100x corrupt and fanstatical bribe takers. So shameless. How can you ask an ECOWAS passport holder to pay 1,000 CFA just like that. Every checkpoint the driver had to pay.
After driving for almost 2hrs, it was getting dark, we had to stop and get something to eat, I bought yam and bottle water to keep me hydrated and energetic. We continued our journey until we arrived at the capital of Burkina Faso, ougadogu.
I have never been more disappointed than I was when I reached the capital, I was confused. The capital is nothing to write home about. Even the worst state in North, Beat a whole country capital 10x.
Now this is the interesting part, the driver was supposed to deliver me, yes I used the word delivery because, I was a package to be delivered. So I was supposed to be delivered to my benefactor at Bobo doulasou not ougadogu but Usman said, he's not going to Bobo doulasou because he needs to deliver the car to the owner.
He said he will book a bus to take us to Bobo doulasou but not that night because it was late. that we should sleep at the park. I was not sure if what I just heard. I burst again, sleep where, oya give me the money, so I can book and get to my destination, because I was already tired. He said, "bus don't move at that time because Boko haram disturb there and if I don't relax, I will risk my life. Immediately I heard that, I just humble.
Now Usman is having a little stand off with the girl (onome) he said thee person that said he should carry her from Cotonou is owing 12,000 CFA and should balance up or he will seize her bags. I watched them exchange words back and forth. All I wanted was to sleep. I enquired about an hotel around, a taxi driver was called to take I and the other guy to any hotel to sleep for the night. The driver took us to a brothel, we were angry, the language barrier didn't allow us to express more, we said no olosho, just hotel to sleep. He nodded like he understood, the werey carry us turn the whole ougadogu until it clocked 1am we told him to take us to the park.
While we're looking for hotel to sleep,my benefactor was already buzzing my phone, trying to know where I was and was angry at Usman for not delivering me on time. I bet she couldn't wait to get hold of my money. I dey copy all these to my guy weh want Japan anyhow. We are still looking for a cousin for over 8 years now all in the name of Japa through bush. |
