Shinzo Abe, Japan’s longest-serving prime minister, ‘was shot twice’ earlier today as he delivered a speech in the country’s south, according to local media.
Ahead of the Sunday parliamentary elections, the 67-year-old, who held office for a total of nine years over two terms, was assassinated in the city of Nara at approximately 11.30 a.m. as he organized support for the local candidate. About six hours later, just as wife Akie had arrived at his bedside, state television NHK confirmed his passing.



Tetsuya Yamagami, 41 and a navy veteran, was arrested at the scene on suspicion of attempted murder while wielding what appeared to be a home-made shotgun. Police say he has since confessed, telling them he wanted to kill Abe because he was ‘dissatisfied’ with him.

Witnesses said Abe was about to start speaking when Yamagami approached him from behind and fired two shots, the second of which felled him. Several members of Abe’s security detail tackled Yamagami while others gave the politician chest compressions, before he was taken to hospital via helicopter.

Prime Minister Kishida called the shooting an attack on ‘the foundation of democracy’, describing it as ‘heinous’, ‘barbaric and malicious’, and ‘absolutely unforgivable’. ‘I would like to use the most extreme words available to condemn this act,’ he added.

Rochas at a time was rated the best governor during his first tenure, I know things went sideways during his second. If Rochas first tenure wasn't good, he wouldn't have won under APC during his second tenure.
The case of my support for Tinubu ahead of Obi is one, level of acceptability.
Once a leader is not acceptable, it would take more than a miracle for his achievements to be seen or heard. Besides the opposition would way him down as at the case of Buhari to South East Nigeria.
Other regions are looking for fg to come in and prosecute their corrupt leaders the southeast are accusing Buhari of selective trials.
I'm from the north and please forgive me if I'm being selfish I don't see a Peter Obi presidency solving the insecurity issue in the North. I don't think he's segacious and courageous enough to tackle those northern bigwigs who sponsors to terrorist.
Even if he tries to, he would have to go through the legal way of prosecuting them which we both know is near impossible.
If he goes the illegal way, Hes govt would be largely criticised by northerners, besides hes level of acceptability in the North is very low.
Human rights would become more vocal as is the case of Buhari in the southeast. In the end northerners loose.
Some evil northern politicians might go ahead to liase with those bandits to increase killings so as to tarnish the Peter Obi image.
The senate would frustrate him which we both know cos his party is not just minority but minorest minority in the chamber.
Truth is no matter how genuine a Peter Obi presidency is hell need a miracle to function.
I'm not banking on miracle.
If you follow my post, you'll know I've always been a fan of amaechi cos amongst the influential politicians he's the only one accepted nationwide coupled with the fact that he has good records as governor and as minister. But with him out of the picture, Tinubu is more acceptable except for Southeast.

So substitute yoruba for Igbos in your content and also Obi for Tinubu then judge yourself.
Arewa house auditorium is a public space for people to rent and use, Peter Obi can also key into it.
And for the records, there's no real key Peter Obi movement in the North compared to tinubu who's Also a southerner.
Or you think the northerners whom you usually call pigs, almajiri and headslammers are so foolish to vote in a candidate cos he's being hyped by the media with no real track records to become president. Northerners would always ask, is Peter Obi as good as they portray him? Once they find it contradictory to what is being hyped then he goes straight to the gutter.
We both know Peter Obi is not as good as he's been portrayed, he was never at a time rated as the best governor in Nigeria.
Kwankwaso, amaechi, Fashola and even Rochas at a time were rated outstanding.
Just the media heave following him.
So it's only fair for him to win in the media and loose the main election.

Let's consider the personality of Obi and Kwankwaso. Obi is a billionaire who made a name in the business world and eventually became the chairman of a bank as well as director in many companies. He is a philanthropist who has traversed the whole of Nigeria and beyond helping to make the world a better place. He has a reputation that goes before him as a humble and accountable man who manages resources judiciously and abhors waste. Lastly, he was a two term governor of Anambra State.

Kwankwaso on the hand, aside being the former governor of Kano state for two terms and being popular with his Kwankwasiya movement in Kano, what else does he bring to the table?

Again, Obi has the following demographic groups behind him:
1. Entire Nigerian Workers championed by NLC and TUC.
2. The entire Nigerian Christians.
3. Majority of Nigerian youths.
4. The business community.

Lastly, Obi has both the SS and SE on lockdown while making significant inroads in every other region across Nigeria. Obi can easily get a Muslim vice presidential candidate and still stand a good chance of winning.

Aside Kano State, where else can Kwankwaso hope of winning? Can Kwankwaso even win the NW? Who knows Kwankwaso in Bayelsa, Ekiti, Cross River or Ebonyi? Yet this man wants Obi to be his Vice? Is it because Obi is a Christian or because he is Igbo?

Where is Kwankwaso's arrogance coming from?!

He knows I don't work on Saturdays and Sundays yet he have me an impromptu task to be done on Sunday... Funny enough, the task was done by my colleague that we were both assigned to do the job but my boss fined me 10k for not being their with my colleague on time.

So I was arguing with a friend who stays in the states and he keeps saying I am a rich guy.

Current salary is about 512k per month (take home), and has an annual increment of 15% of your take home. This is aside perks of perdiem anytime I travel outside work base (15k per night).

Anytime he wants me to have minor something done in NG on his bahalf, he expects me to use my money and whenever I ask, he tells me not to complain that I am rich (he knows what I earn), I don't have a problem doing those things for him.

With apologies to this fellow, I make this complaint.

Please, how can I handle this situation I found myself in this shared room.

I am someone who likes and respect peoples privacy and mine a lot and this was why it took me time to opt for a shared apartment until things got out of hand and I had to settle for it due to lack of sufficient funds.

The issue is about this fellow. The first night I got there, after a few mins she just went completely unclad. In my mind, I thought it was because she wanted to bathe, that she'll probably get into a nighty once she's done but to my surprise, she didn't.
