Learning a skill is very much available for anyone that wants to. Unless you think the skill acquisition centres should be free because if it's paid skill acquisition you allude to, those already exist on almost every street in Nigeria.

I think free ones will be good, am sure we all see the almajiris and disillusioned youths with no training or education roaming our streets, they are a danger to our collective safety...of course it's the government responsibility, but men of God should do their part for the poor, as they mobilise funds from the people, not just feeding them, but empowerment ensures poverty ends.

A government that can't protect it's people from bandits and terrorists is useless, the reason for a government is to create law and order, safety of citizens and their properties...any government not doing this is very useless. Look around the world, only Nigeria are terrorists killing people randomly, and we are playing politics and religion with lives, such a low minded political class.

It is absurd and very sad, to see Nigeria politicians talking about 2027, when terrorists and bandits are still killing innocent Nigerians, they should be declaring states of emergency and mobilising all resources and manpower to send the terrorists running or get them eliminated.

Monday night that 3 people where abducted in LADE I was in the village. The situation no funny at all. Gradually Edu and Patigi local government is getting deserted. Villagers leaving the area and business dieing, farmers can't go to there farm, everyone living in fear.
Monday afternoon around 4pm, I saw The soldiers deployed to the area heading towards patigi in convoy then I asked some villagers why, they said only patrol during day and return to patigi in the evening to sleep. So the bandits mostly strike in the night. The governor seems na joke until price of food stuffs increases cos most farms are being abandoned. The LADE villages said it's being over 3 years they saw light last, they depend on solar for those that can afford it, bad road, the governor only focuses on the state capital. It's so painful, don't even know what kwara north is enjoying under this AA government.

EDU/ PATIGI local government needs urgent attention. The area is bleeding.

No serious nation, no thriving nation will take the political class in Nigeria or us serious, if we can't protect the lives of the people, this is a shame and a disgrace, and yet politicians are driving Rolls-Royce and Maybachs, spending billions on food yearly, and we say we can't procure enough materials to send these terrorists running from Nigeria...that is why a rational man will see a sinister motive, the unwillingness to end it...seems a class, group or set of people benefits or want this to continue, this is the only rational conclusion.

The political class must get their act together.

Sharia invites Islamic extremists from all over to your state, announcing Sharia is calling the Islamists extremists to a caliphate, they see any state with sharia as their caliphate to dominate and conquer. If you let a bunch of self serving men jeopardise the collective safety of your state, then that state indigenes are cowards and docile.

For your own safety resist sharia in your state, Nigeria is a secular nation, we have the courts and constitution of federal republic and state laws that guide us, religious laws can not govern in a secular state.

This is a nation where politicians are focused, and love their people and nation.
