Edo north people having left Bini Kingdom following a civil war that tore the City apart, their ancestors traveled up north and settled in what is today known as "Afenmai land".

In the mid to late 18th century, the Nupes (supported by their Fulani soldiers) invaded Afenmai land. Although the Afenmai people are not known to be hostile, they had no organized or recognizable form of central government or religion (except witchcraft) until the arrival of the Nupe invaders.

As long as a policeman is in public doing his duties, he can be recorded. He serves the public. Even in police stations (that are public offices) , phones are seized at the gates. I still do not know why. There is no expectation of privacy in public. The law has made it clear.

Nobody goes to a policeman's private residence or barrack to record him.

If the police is doing his duty, even content creators can make him rich. I have dashed money to traffic policemen doing their duties diligently, because someone recorded them and uploaded same on the internet for 'content creation'. Should that be considered a crime?

A lot of Nigerians record police when the police is not engaging them or doing anything illegal, this is wrong.

If you are not myopic you will know that decisions are not decided on nairaland, what we can do here is advocacy, pushing these political office holders to do their job. Those politicians get so much from the public, good pay, allowances and living luxury, the least they can do is do their job. That is a job not a throne. You people don't even know what democracy is about, these people are our workers, they need to do their job, that they get so much compensation for...am I your president?
