I understand your anger and frustration because the insecurity and kidnappings are getting out of hand. But saying “if some civilians die, it is part of warfare” is easy to say until your own brother, wife, child, or parent is among those hostages.

Yes, terrorists must be fought seriously and government must improve intelligence, security, and rescue operations. But hostage situations are delicate. A rushed military operation can end with innocent people being killed alongside the terrorists.

The real solution is not endless begging or weakness, but a smarter strategy: stronger security, better intelligence gathering, prevention of kidnappings, cutting terrorist networks and funding, and carefully planned operations when necessary.

Fighting terrorism should not mean becoming careless about innocent lives. Those hostages are human beings, not statistics.
