I want to ask the experience people in the house. A friend made an omission while filling his visa application form. After filling the form he realized he did not declare his first visa refusal. He has already paid for his ihs and visa fees.
Please your advise is needed urgently.

Hello house, I’ve been denied visa for UK visiting visa in 2021 and South Africa tourist visa in 2019.
But when filling my application, I mentioned have been denied visa for UK visiting visa before, but I forgot to mention South Africa and I’ve went for my biometric yesterday. I applied as dependent.
Please I hope this won’t affect my approval?

Please o I just read on the TLS site that if you been refused a visa by these countries Australia, Canada, New Zealand, the United States of America, or the Schengen countries you may not want to use the Priority Visa service, as UKVI may be unable to process your application within the 5-day timescale. I've had refusals from US and Canada
@Gurus in the house what's your advice should I go ahead and pay for priority services or just go for standard. Please a quick response will be appreciated

Hello guys, the school I applied to are asking me to send all the visa refusal documents in other to process my application, I only have two US visa refusal in 2018, I no longer have the refusal letters but I still have the US application confirmation pdf in my email, can i send the pdf to the school or I should tell them I no longer have the refusal letters with me?

You have in total 5 refusals

2 US and 3Uk Visa refusal and only declared 1

You had already taken the decision to conceal the others. Not sure why you want an advice now

What will you state in your cover letter as a reason to not declare the others??and why do you think the ECO should consider that cover letter and not you concealing information?

A cover letter can help but declaring it in your application would have been the best bet. It is left for the ECO to decide.Hopefully it goes in your favour

Goodafternoon . Please I would like to know your thoughts on this . I had 2 US undergraduate visas in 2010. I applied maybe within a week of each application . I’m not sure of the timeline again as I don’t have the refusal letters or stamps on my passport.Now I also have 3 Uk visit visa refusals after then. Fortunately I requested for my file from ukvi which they sent to me. Looking through it I see that I only declared one US refusal all these while and it was never brought up in refusal letters as a reason for
refusal. have already filled my visa form and submitted which I only filled one refusal . But it just occurred to me that because it’s a student visa if they will check and confirm that it’s two instead of one. Should I upload a cover letter indicating that I’ve had 2 is visa refusals or just continue with the one . Urgent response pls . My biometrics is tomorrow. Thank you

You can clearly state you are unsure or have forgotten the main reason as it has been more than 10years for the US refusal

My success story


April 1 - Biometric date
N.B - 2 previous visitors visa refusal

May 12- student Visa refusal -Reason given was the attached bank statement explaining the circumstances of previous visa refusal was a falsified document.

May 12- complaint made to Bank as it was a genuine bank statement.


May 13- Bank replied they contacted UK embassy and they acknowledged the error on their part hence they will withdraw the refusal.

May 13- June 22 (several mail sent to UKVI and they claimed they have made decision on my application ). Pleaded for it to be escalated as I haven’t gotten my passport back buh they said due to Ukraine war, they couldn’t escalate.

June 22- complaint made to home office but it took 20 working days to get a response from them.

July 21- They finally responded and they apologized and explained that the visa was issued May 13 but due to administrative oversight, it wasn’t passed to next stage.

July 26- picked up my passport with visa buh couldn’t travel with it as school claimed I couldn’t meet up with April class despite series of online lectures I attended . Online Lectures was only stopped first week July .
School advised I have to request another CAS and make a fresh visa application.

July 27- I mailed Home office again via complaint review stating my displeasure about how they made me miss out my resumption due to error from there part..I was also preparing for another application so I started another POF journey cos school won’t release another CAS without POF evidence.

August 16- I requested CAS from school cos I knew it might take 2weeks for them to release it.

August 23 - Home office replied that I should get CAS for another course date for them to revoke the present visa and reissue another one. Earlier that day ,Sheffield team messaged too also demanding new CAS to be sent to the mail they provided within 10 working days.
The POF I started earlier and also the CAS I requested earlier too helped. School frustrated me delaying the CAS. They finally released it after several calls.

August 30- CAS was released and I forwarded it to UKVI as requested.

September 8- British High Commission called I should submit my passport back which I rushed to submit that same day.

September 11- BRP details was sent to my mail . I was expecting mail from TLS for pick up for close to 2 weeks but no mail. So I felt since my BRP details was already sent to me and I didn’t go through the normal process, let me risk going to TLS to check it myself.

September 21- I finally picked my passport with New visa issued.

It wasn’t an easy journey but God came through for me.
