I registered for DE in Lagos at one of the centers at anthony, I was told there that I should make photocopies of my credentials (birth certificate, state of origin, o level and A'level), I should put them in an envelope with my name on it and go submit it at jamb office Ikoyi otherwise my school (ekpoma) won't call me for screening or give me admission, please can any one tell me how true this is?

lol very funny... why would you do that... except if you made. mistakes during the registration and trust me jamb has no business receiving those document you listed... I kukuma trust this girls at ikoyi... but seriously is anything wrong with your data?

More reason why people need to register for regularization now,so whenever the new jamb number is ready,u simply go do data correction before they start given admission.
Even if they gave u admission and ur new regularised number is not ready,the school u are been admitted don't need ur old jamb number.

let me get this straight... info reaching me this morning is that data correction can't edit ones reg number it can only change your dog personal details and all that... for those putting other diploma note this

but do you guys know the annoying thing... I have to jamb officials that I call but the annoying thing is they keep saying have patience it will come out but they dont care about the closing date of the registration.... trust me... jamb are annoying... anyone who is a moderator here should please try and see to this... why you go register for jamb reg since November and yet till now no reg and no explanation.... Nairaland should please give this issue a voice

Yes by simply choosing Other Diploma when registering.

this other diploma of a thing my issue on it is.... there is option for OND and yet you decide to put in other diploma... and yet you insert your matric number... when the DE form comes out from your preferred school hope that won't create issues

Thank you Sir. I have done my D.E reg, but I tried using my matric number, but it did not work, but when i tried other diploma it work but without jamb number. So am just waiting to receive my jamb regularisation number, so that I can do A level data correction.

Trust me a friend dis exactly the same thing you just said.. Plan on doing that too.. .if the stipulated time reach and am tired of waiting for the jamb reg.. Definitely using this method

it depends... if you happen to have gained admission into any institution in Nigeria without jamb.. then for a direct entry admission you will require to get it.. just go to the admission office of your graduated institution.... but if u got admitted through jamb u don't need to go thru this wahala

Yes I have two friend from ado poly they have succefuly register for direct entry without using jamb regularization bcuz they just register their jamb regularization last month jamb will soon close d best tin for u now is to go with this procedure just tell the personnel who want to register ur direct entry registration

I posted this same issue yesterday, just got few views and just one person posted... I am dead serious on this matter how can I make payment since November and till now no show... This ain't going to be funny if the form closes before it is sent... after vigorous complaints and prayer... am super super worried

I have a friend with this issues but you can register direct entry without jamb regularization you just have to fill your matric number in replace of jamb regularization number after the registration you can come back and do correction of data later once you get your regularization number back jamb will allow u to do that

really a friend of mine once said it can be left blank but some cbt centers are saying it must be provided... am seriously confused... any cbt center personnel in here please help

U can register for both UTME and DE but it must be with separate email addresses and phone number/sim for each.
