The fact that Dora lost in her and Obi's  Agulu region is enough pointer that she will Never defeat Ngige,
This re-run defeat is even better because it showed Onwa's popularity in the face of intimidation,
Karma is on Dora for her involvement in the Ekiti Massacre

PoliticsMrs Ayoka Adebayo (ex-ekiti Rec) Finally Resigns! by DEEHASAL(op): 7:39am On Dec 08, 2010
Former Resident Electoral Commissioner for Ekiti State Mrs. Ayoka Adebayo bowed yesterday to public pressure: she quit her job.

Mrs Ayoka served a notice of resignation on the management of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).

It was learnt that the notice was submitted personally by Mrs. Adebayo at the office of the INEC chairman, Prof. Attahiru Jega.

The resignation of Mrs. Adebayo, who is now the outgoing REC in Ondo State, will however take effect from January 1, next year.

Investigation by The Nation showed that Mrs Adebayo threw in the towel, following talks with Jega, her role model, ex-President Olusegun Obasanjo, and her relatives.

It was learnt that based on the outcome of the talks, Mrs. Adebayo last Thursday directed her staff in Ondo State to start preparing her handover notes.

The sudden directive was said to have caught most of her staff unawares.

It was gathered that the staff later discovered that Mrs. Adebayo had written a draft of her resignation letter, which was eventually submitted to INEC yesterday.

A reliable source, who spoke in confidence, said: “Mrs. Adebayo came to INEC headquarters yesterday with some of her aides. I think she came to submit the notice of disengagement.

“But all top officials of the commission kept the information under wraps. She will certainly leave by January.

“Since Mrs. Adebayo had talks with Jega about two weeks ago, there had been pressure on her to quit because there is no way INEC could conduct election in 2011 with a controversial REC.

“We learnt that during interaction with Mrs. Adebayo, the INEC chairman also persuaded her to step aside as ‘a matter of sacrifice for the nation and its electoral process, not as a result of any indictment’. Jega knew that INEC could only advise the REC because the commission has no power to remove her.

“At a point, Jega told Mrs Ayoka that there is only one year age gap between the woman and his mother. So, he asked Mrs. Adebayo to see his advice as a “son-to-mother type.”

It was also gathered that ex-President Olusegun Obasanjo, who is Mrs. Adebayo’s role model and godfather, advised her to “quit since she is not being appreciated despite her sacrifice during the April 2009 Ekiti governorship poll re-run”.

The source added: “I can assure you that she is leaving for good. Going by the tone of her draft resignation letter, she might quit from January 1, 2011.”

All INEC, who could confirm Mrs Ayoka’s resignation notice, switched off their telephones last night.

helping him built the church and for a life well-spent governing Lagos and Osun states
where he failed woefully.

OBJ should be a lesson to all youths and aspiring leaders.

When after 11yrs as president he is being openly disrespected by all and sundry.

When Awos name even wins election 23yrs after his death,

Ahmadu Bellos name still make the earth quake 40yrs after his death.

OBj is alive and he is the butt of all jokes.
Spot on!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Obasanjo was SouthWest greatest enemy when he ruled Nigeria both times.
While ACN groomed young, decxent and progressive people in the region to play active role in politics,
OBJ used every state machinery to dismantle it and install his cronies.
Oyinlola is the worst governor SW ever produced after Akala.
Oyinlola did nothing to show for almost N600Billion allocation he recieved from FG.
He still went ahead to borrow another N18B at the twilight of his tenure.
There is nothing to do thanksgiving for except bidding farewell before relocating to Kirikiri permanently.
The PDP Governors OBJ rigged into office are rascals, thieves and looters.

Fayose might be disrespectful but he definitely did the right thing.
The same OBJ orchestrated his removal from office and sent EFCC dogs after him.
There has to be a way to get back at him and that was the right opportunity.

OBJ by his actions or rather inactions has murdered sleep, and as such will sleep with his eyes opened.

Abeg stop talking Anambra here. What happened in Anambra was that The Ikemba asked that obi be retained, not that Obi has any hope of doing anything better than Ngige.
Ngige did so well in Anambra but Obi did much better to deserve 2nd term.
Who listens to Ikemba in Igboland?
If he command such respect,Obi should have won landslide.
But that wasnt the case.
Only 19% of the populace voted and that meagre vote was shared almost equally with Ngige.
Anambrarians voted for performance, humility and financial prudency which Obi represents.
It has little to do with Ikemba.very little.

Akin-Egba:
What is the big deal with Fayemi? Did the same thing not happen with Anambra state?
Are you serious?

It 1st happened in Rivers before Anambra,Edo and now Ekiti.
Most glaring is Ekiti because of its broad day light robbery.
Sequel to the re-run fayemi was leading with over 3,000 votes and the re-run LG's were
mostly AC stronghold.
OBJ,INEC,Iwu(Eewwooo) did their wuruwuru and 3k votes were erased overnight to the consternation of all Ekiti indigenes.

Fayemi's case is a sign that castle built on cardboard will always fall as was Peter Obi and Oshiomole's.
The irony of all these is that these governors that came into being through judicial uprightness are the best in the country.
History and precedence will force Fayemi to perform
I understand the posters point and the message he is trying to pass accross

After school we still attend the same lesson which makes us even closer.

From that we became really close.
But to ask her out is a whole new issue.I just couldnt bring myself to do it even though she smile at every opportunity to my jokes

Then one day,on her Birthday i bought her a necklace and greeting card as gift.At the last page of the greeting card,I expressed my love with so much feelings.
Unfortunately, the elder sister (who suspected my affection to her younger sis)opened the "present" gave the necklace to her and read my well-written words to her.
She was totally embarrassed.

She visited me the next day and said" You should have told me you like me,instead of writing that letter.I liked you too since ss1"

I later learnt that her elder sis cried while reading that letter.

Most politicians in SW left the then AC because of Tinubu's influence who they think is too young to lead a whole region.
But some of them are returning back to beg for positions from him especially now that OBJ is no more in Power.
Everybody knew what happened in Osun state. It is not a fight against Tinubu but a silent war to undermine the wishes of the people.
People voted en-masse for Aregbesola because they wanted him as their governor. But OBJ thought otherwise-he ordered the release of a doctored result.
Totally against the free wishes of the people.
Today the populace are suffering the failure of Govt.
I just hope the Appeal Court will restore people's mandate freely given to Aregbesola.

The Appeal courts stated that:

"the results for the Ijero as well as Ifaki 1 and 2 electoral wards were simply concocted, manufactured, and purported. The tribunal therefore cancelled the results."

If Goodluck Jonathan is worth anything, Prof Iwu and Ayoka Adebayo should be arrested and jailed.
