idrezee:That memo didn't make or state any provision for schools without funds in their purses. Government schools are 'not-for-profit' and so Government is their sponsor. A memo for such activities to schools that resume in September would not come in the last week of August. Our government is just irresponsible, and defending them irrespective of our political affiliation, encourages such ineptitude. That memo didn't address situations where schools do not have money, or where the pupils are too young or small in population. The author of that memo should be suspended. Responsible governments communicate appropriately, and make adequate plans to ensure things run smoothly. If people at the helm of education affairs cannot get it right, then primary (education) is no longer bedrock of enlightened citizenry. 3 Likes |

phorget:This is wrong. Teachers are not government slaves, neither are the students too. The schools belong to Government, and ad a responsible employer, Government should foot the expenses for grass cutting. Teachers were hired to teach, not as professional landscapers or farmers. They should let them teach honorably The worst is for Agric or PHE teachers to supervise students who are fit to cut some light grasses, not even heavy bushes. Otherwise, a responsible government pays for such expenses. That's how wealth is spread to people without white-collar jobs. We need to always think through issues, learn to hold our governments accountable, and not jump on every issue to attack teachers or fellow civilians like ourselves 5 Likes |

Nigeria Judiciary system keeps making the accusations in the book look real Things that affect the highs get speedy attention from our judges but the common man can be in prison for years still awaiting trial. It wasn't Iran's defense system intercepting Israel missiles, it was Israel fighter jets attacking Iran's air defense system. The over 3 hour-long limited and precise attack was carried out in three phases. The first phase was an attack against Iran's air defense. The second and third included a precise attack targeting Iran's missile manufacturing sites and a selected military base. It's unfortunate that things have to reach this level, but with the loss of some Iranian military personnel and the hit on targeted sites and fighter jets returning to Isareal after breaching Iran air space, the mission was successful |

Two Iranian soldiers reportedly died in the limited attack with Iran's air space successfully attacked. Imagine attacking Iran missile manufacturing base and a few other military bases in and around Tehran and all the fighter jets returned to Israel successfully. No ballistic missile or drones. It could mean that Iran's defensive system is not as strong as they claimed anyways If Israel claimed a mission is successful, it means their aim was achieved. Peace to the world |

You are funny with this your news. Do you know how many pollsters are in US and how many polls come out everyday? You are just reporting a post that came out since last Thursday when other polls are already out at the moment I don't even take those pollsters seriously. How do you report polls of less than 1000 or 2000 random voters from whichever demography and location you choose to summarize a state with over 3.5 million voters going by 2020 results? If you want to really inform people you should dedicate time to report more polls, I don't believe those polls though either for or against 2 Likes |

As a matter of fact, God is the best and greatest Employer, and He rewards those that diligently seek Him. Why the rich man may not enter into the kingdom of God is if the riches of the rich man are not from God, the rich man trusts in his riches, the rich man does not love God, the rich man is not conscious of heaven, or the rich man refuses to help the poor. Otherwise, the rich man will have a mansion in heaven with his crowns of good work and the poor man might still rot in hell. But you will not always have me Believe it or not, there will always be poor people, not only in the church but everywhere. Are you going to stop making progress in your life, buying cars and building houses because you have the poor, sometimes even in your family? The Pastors, like other members of the society should keep helping the poor. I think what is most important is what is saved after you have paid the rent (and other expenses) Someone earning 20K monthly and paying rent of 40K would say I only use 2 months salary for rent. Another earning $2,500 monthly and paying rent of $800 per month would use like 4 months salary to pay rent. The point would then be, who is richer and saving more between the two? Take for instance, at some point my salary was around 750K and my rent was 250K per year. But how much was my savings at the end of the year? It's difficult to conclude on these things in isolation without looking at other factors. Sometimes you have to spend much on rent temporarily to get something much bigger at the latter end. What's most important is financial freedom, which is attained over time as long as you stay financially disciplined. 4 Likes 1 Share |

Me : In my search for universities offering combination of Molecular Biology and Neurobiology, I came across UI as one of the best schools offering the double. However, being the only public research university at Chicago, UI offers me the laboratory research experience I need. VO: What do you do? Me: I am University lecturer at so so University, where i currently teach ... (He has already started typing while I focus my eyes on cimpletely on his eyeballs and whenever he looked at my direction, he saw my face looking relaxed). VO: What is your plan after this program? Me: I will be coming back to Nigeria to continue my lecturing job. VO: Are you married? Me: ( I didn't hear this one very well, so I asked him to repeat himself like 3 times). Yes VO: When was that? He then attached the white paper to my i-20 and gave me I only heard pick your passport bla bla bla, and I said thank you PS: Pray well Be bold (probably be singing or speaking in tongues quietly before your time so that you charge your vocal system before you are called) Eye contact must be 100% Don't rush to answer any question, particularly the ones you didn't hear well. Ask the VO to repeat the questions you either did not hear well or your brain couldn't immediately get an answer to, it is also a strategy to quickly gather a good response rather than stammering and saying rubbish (I asked VO to repeat a question 3 times when I didn't hear him). Amount of words you say do not matter, it is in the substance of your response Know your story very well, any question can be asked in any order Don't tell plenty story, no time. Say the most important things first and be as brief as possible Please go to the embassy early (they don't check your appointment time before they interview you, but it saves you emotional and physical stress if you go there early) VO didn't ask about my funding. He already saw that in my i-20. No document was also requested for except the i-20 i gave him. I wasn't even eager to answer any question like that.
