For 3 days I have tried to log in to my bank but keep getting a connection error message as attached below. UBA customer care on Twitter are absolutely useless and can't provide any helpful information as to what caused this or when resolution is expected.

If you happen to be experiencing the same, desist from making any ATM withdrawal or online payment with UBA bank card until the issue with the app is resolved, a lot of users are reporting cases of wrong debits.

Also, if you are contacted on Twitter by any seeming UBA account, note that UBA handle on Twitter is @UBACares. Don't fall prey to the numerous fraudulent Twitter handles masquerading as UBA customer support and looking for who to exploit.

Mod @DRAGNET kindly take this to front page.

Here's an advice....First use your password to login instead of thumb print. Then you can use thumb print subsequently if u wish.

What fone are u currently using?

Since you're not that fone savvy, just go to playstore and download "True phone" dialler. It's best if u can get the premium version though. Make it your default dialler and give all necessary permissions. Go to contacts and click on the 3 dots below the right side, select "export to storage" and follow the directive. After successful, u should be able to see the saved file on root folder (Depending on where u chose)

Please guys, make una help me o. I received an update of security patch yesterday morning and I updated it. Just this evening my phone started misbehaving. By merely touching the power button, the screen will lock and if I mistakenly touch it multiple times, it will dial SOS call. Also touching it multiple times can sometimes make it restart and hang before coming up again.

whereas before the update, this is how my phone works...
I need to push the power button before the screen can lock, and touch the power button to unlock it and it does not lag but now it is different o.

Please make una help me because I am thinking maybe I should factory reset but I really don't want to do that. Thanks

Download full ROM and Reinstall. I have been using that same ROM for two months and Zero issues. Also update your apps if they are not up to date.

Remember to also stress "official rom" o!
Not all roms downloaded anywhere is official, some may have malicious codes added into them
