The mechanics of the 200m is quite straight forward... Shelly Ann had Blessing in her sight and she used her as a target to catch! So if Shelly Ann had used Blessing as a yard stick, shouldnt Blessing be doing the same, using Ahoure as target to chase down because the moment Shelly Ann passed Blessing she was under pressure and tightened up and found it difficult to pass the little Ivorian, despite having longer strides.

Nigeria won Silver in the mens 4x100m in 1997 in Greece

Ebunike was a gr8 athlete.
1987 was around d Carl lewis years I guess... he was a strong contender but am sure even d second was a big surprise to everyone....

I meant Nigerian athletes that were tipped even before competitions for gold medal hopefuls...

and in recent times ... there has been none ... until Okagbare ... I just meant that she shud be encouraged ... that's all.
