Chech the format of the downloaded video if whatsapp supports it.

The confusing part of it all is, the videos would appear on its own after a day or two of download. Could that be after the phone slept well,? Who knows.

Aventis:
Just dey update your whatsapp status from gallery or file manager, if you can't see it in whatsapp. Click share and send to whatsapp status

I tried moving the video to whatsapp media folder but still same issue. I moved it also to download folder on SD card still same. I just choose not download with save.from again especially if I intended to use the videos as WhatsApp status.

naijasensei:
Since you can upload videos on nairaland, it means your file manager is working. When you want to upload videos on WhatsApp, switch to the file manager app on your phone by clicking the three (3) vertical dots in the top right corner of your screen.

I found out the actually problem. The problem is from this app called 'save.from' that I use to download YouTube videos. Every video I downloaded using the app, Whatsapp can't see it or I should say videos downloaded
can't be found in the recent videos when trying to update whatsapp status.

veramani31:
Because you turned it off in your settings. Toggle this on and it would become visible

WhatsApp>>>>>>Settings>>>>>>>Chat

I found out the actually problem. The problem is from this app called 'save.from' that I use to save YouTube videos. Every video I downloaded using the app, Whatsapp can't see it or Atleast can't be found in the recent videos when trying to update whatsapp status.

naijasensei:
I have a theory. There are some folders on your phone which prevent gallery apps, and media apps from accessing media in such folders.

How can you detect such folders? Easy, browse to such folders with your file manager, enable view hidden files, then search for the presence of a ".nomedia" file.

Deleting the ".nomedia" file in a folder will allow apps to access media files in that folder.

I still can't find recent videos. I don't really know why. And this is only happening to whatsapp. Like now if I wana upload recent videos I downloadedd on nairaland, I can easily see them but on whatsapp, they won't be seen.

I can't seems to find recent videos I downloaded,if I Wana use them as WhatsApp status, on this Rn8. Recent downloaded videos should be found at the first row.

Its nice, I love the WhatsApp quick reply function... But with time I discovered that games run better and your phone has a low chance of heating up with the game turbo feature switched off.

Will try switching off and see.

Is it possible to make video chat with flash on, on Note 8?

I don't think this Rn8 has selfie flash light.

Seems like the circle part of the picture is where setting icon were located but how come Google search icon replaced it.

noobody or macbeyland can ship from anywhere in the planet

That was long tym ago. I bought redmi note 8

I have never heard of this app until nov 2019

wanderingsoup:
mine does also. Even when the weather is not hot

Wow! Nothing of the nature ever witnessed with my redmi note 8. With the gaming and charging the phone remain normal. Just warm after intensive gaming.

micxwell:
6.2inches. I recently used that of Infinix S4 and it fits. Get it.

Rn8 is 6.3. Is the screen guard u used smooth like original?

I just feel like any 6.3 inch screen guard of any phone can fit on Rn8, what do you think guys?

Since 2013 I never heard of this. No sport channels so is no go area for me

okikiosibodu:
Ok. I thing I saw on a website while searching, that there is an app on playstore "any cast" that one is to download. Did you download it?
Does the device need to be plugged to a power source while connecting a phone display to it?

U must plug it to power source and that's exactly what I did, downloading an app from playstore, that helped I think..

okikiosibodu:
Brother... Do you want to sell your device?
I don't too get this url.
https://m.gearbest.com/blog/how-to/anycast-m2-dongle-guide-connect-any-phone-to-your-tv-985
Does the device have to be plugged to a power source while being used?

They didn't talked about the problem I faced. The problems I faced was videos lagging, stuttering, and glitching. Impossible to enjoy watching. But now the issue is solved by almost 90%, what I did was downloading an app mirroring assistant now the videos is smooth and clear only that the voice is stuttering a little.
