Chech the format of the downloaded video if whatsapp supports it.

The confusing part of it all is, the videos would appear on its own after a day or two of download. Could that be after the phone slept well,? Who knows.

Just dey update your whatsapp status from gallery or file manager, if you can't see it in whatsapp. Click share and send to whatsapp status

I tried moving the video to whatsapp media folder but still same issue. I moved it also to download folder on SD card still same. I just choose not download with save.from again especially if I intended to use the videos as WhatsApp status.

Since you can upload videos on nairaland, it means your file manager is working. When you want to upload videos on WhatsApp, switch to the file manager app on your phone by clicking the three (3) vertical dots in the top right corner of your screen.

I found out the actually problem. The problem is from this app called 'save.from' that I use to download YouTube videos. Every video I downloaded using the app, Whatsapp can't see it or I should say videos downloaded

I have a theory. There are some folders on your phone which prevent gallery apps, and media apps from accessing media in such folders.

How can you detect such folders? Easy, browse to such folders with your file manager, enable view hidden files, then search for the presence of a ".nomedia" file.

Deleting the ".nomedia" file in a folder will allow apps to access media files in that folder.

I still can't find recent videos. I don't really know why. And this is only happening to whatsapp. Like now if I wana upload recent videos I downloadedd on nairaland, I can easily see them but on whatsapp, they won't be seen.

I think the original one is the one I bought at raya which has transparent space for Redmi name at the Botton, price #2.5k but just yesterday I changed it with another one cos of crack. The one I got now is not original cos it doesn't have the space for REDMI name but it fit well even more then the original. It Don lap well well, I love it even more.

Its nice, I love the WhatsApp quick reply function... But with time I discovered that games run better and your phone has a low chance of heating up with the game turbo feature switched off.
