Sports › Re: FIFA World Cup Records Yet To Be Broken by Deeprooted: 5:02pm On Jun 07 |
jamp: The world is just 4 days away. There are records yet to be broken since the inception of the tournament in 1930. Could this records be broken this year.
Here are some records.
1. No foreign coach has ever won the men’s FIFA World Cup with a national team of a different nationality.
Every one of the 21+ World Cup-winning managers (across 22 tournaments) has been a native of the country they led to victory. This holds true from the first edition in 1930 (Uruguay’s Alberto Suppici) through Argentina’s Lionel Scaloni in 2022.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_FIFA_World_Cup_winning_managers
2. Most goals in a single tournament: Just Fontaine (France) with 13 goals in 6 matches (1958). Modern Golden Boot winners typically score 5–8 goals; no one has come close in decades.
3. Youngest goalscorer: Pelé (Brazil) at 17 years, 239 days (vs. Wales, 1958). Extremely unlikely due to player development and squad selection norms.
4. Oldest player to appear: Essam El-Hadary (Egypt) at 45 years, 161 days (2018). Goalkeepers can push this, but it’s a high bar.
5. Oldest goalscorer: Roger Milla (Cameroon) at 42 years, 39 days (1994). Still stands strong.
6. Biggest margin of victory: Hungary 10–1 El Salvador (1982). Double-digit scores are rare in the modern era with better defenses and professionalism.

Dude no even send us at all. He said he was eargly expecting a son. I guess he already has a way of celebrating the delivery if it was a boy child. Throughout the Athenatal period, no scan was carried out to know the sex of the baby? |

Goo0dHardDick: It so sad.
He said he has been married before but divorced. According to him, the first wife he married didn't have womb. That he didn't know until a day to the marriage when rumours has flown around and someone told him about it. He thought it was a joke, he then told him his family and finally asked the lady about it, at first she denied it but later admitted it was true.
That she did abortion for her ex boyfriend and that her womb was removed while the abortion procedures took place.
This is the main reason why he was so sad after his wife gave birth to a female child. You already knew his reason for his preference for a male child, yet you're here asking us why some men discriminate against female children. Op no make me vex biko

Family › Re: Help! No My Sister Has No Privacy In Her Marriage by Deeprooted(op): 7:40am On May 18 |
I Phils: It seems there may have been underlying issues in the marriage even before the sister-in-law moved in.
Two years without a child should not automatically become a source of pressure, though society in Nigeria often makes it one.
Regarding the food and household expenses, if your Sister is not solely responsible for providing them, she should avoid focusing too much on how fast things are being consumed for now, so she can protect her peace of mind.
On orderliness in the house... With six children from the visitor, some of them should be old enough to assist with dishes and basic cleaning. Your sister can politely involve them in maintaining the house.
Your Sister should have a calm and honest conversation with her husband, explaining how the lack of privacy and the prolonged stay are affecting her emotionally and their marriage. Together, they should discuss possible timelines and arrangements for the sister-in-law to get her own place.
If the environment continues to affect her mental health, you can help her to temporarily engage herself elsewhere in a productive way, for example through further studies, professional development or work, rather than making it look like she is simply running away from the marriage. Leaving a marriage is a major decision and should not be made purely out of frustration or pressure from outsiders.
I sincerely wish her peace, wisdom, and a positive resolution. The sister in-law got divorced by the husband and moved in with her 6 children. They both agreed on not having kids for now. There were no issues prior to the sister in-law's invasion. |

Family › Re: Help! No My Sister Has No Privacy In Her Marriage by Deeprooted(op): 8:31pm On May 17 |
WhiteIverson: 6 children ke. Instead of leaving the marriage, why not discuss with your husband?
If he can afford to feed his sister and her 6 children, then he can rent an apartment for them. The sister and the ex husband should sort out any other expenses by themselves.
If married couples cannot talk and find solutions to issues like this, then wetin una dey talk about for the marriage?
On top this very solvable issue, she wan leave marriage? What will now happen when the real challenges come. This is just 2 years of marriage.
Talk to your husband and express your displeasure!!! His response will guide you on what to do. Thanks so much I will do that |
Family › Help! No My Sister Has No Privacy In Her Marriage by Deeprooted(op): 8:02pm On May 17 |
I won't bore you with unnecessary details.
My immediate younger sister is less than 2 years in her marriage with no children yet.
On the 13th of February, this year, her sister in-law moved in with her 6 children.
My sister thought it was just a visit only to be informed by the husband that his sister was divorced and would be with them for a few days.
Since her arrival with her children, my sister lost everything that has to do with privacy in her matrimonial home.
Dishes unwashed, a bag of rice lasts less than a month, the sitting room littered with dishes.
My sister has become a stranger in her home as the sister in-law now advises her husband against being too loving.
I love my sister so much and I'm already thinking of taking her away from that toxic environment.
I want my sister to leave the marriage since the husband is not helping matters with her sister.
This 17th of May and the sister in-law and her children are not making any arrangements of getting an apartment of their own.
What would you advise my sister to do? |

I had an experience with a doctor who had to Google the symptoms of what she suspected was the ailment with my son.
She ended up that a test had to be conducted.
Upon the arrival of the doctor, we discovered it was just a minor thing and only a few medications were recommended.
These guys still need to learn from experienced doctors but in Nigeria, they're allowed to attend to patients with little or no supervision at all!
Meanwhile, congratulations to everyone who loves and wants to see a new Nigeria, to you I dedicate my FTC
OK to the rescue
Peter Obi and Kwakwanso will be our president and vice, come 2027 |
