Let's put it this way. There is power in thought. Thought activates ethereal vibrations which have effects in reality. This is why, whether there is God or no God, whether juju works or not - when powerful thoughts are concentrated, things happen. Two perspectives to this - one, they might see the human being they created as that automaton - simply a biological one. Indeed the Sumerian records state that the "ardu and amtu" (the male and female human slaves) had no free will - and we could see this as automatons. One thing you must at least agree to and understand is that if humans were designed by another race of beings then it would be a very ancient matter by our standards of time. The oldest known civilization to us - the Sumerians - kept in their historical records details of extra-terrestial beings called the Annunaki who came to Earth and genetically engineered humans as a slave workforce for the purpose of mining minerals for their use. The records of the sumerians in this regard are very detailed and very extensive and it is difficult to see why they would make something like that up.

At all events let me be clear in saying that I am not asserting it to be true - I simply dont know if it is or not - I only present it to you in answer to your question - simply to show you that many ideas and suggestions in this regard exist through history.

On strength scale we not near the apex of brute strength on this planet? Nobody is feeding on us, so what would be the end goal of designing us if we indeed had a designer.

Not to mention, some of the so called design choices are needlessly complicated or just bad. Some even have no apparent purpose or can be done without entirely.

On the whole with what we know there is no appeal for me to think we were designed, none at all.

Right before your very eyes, this generation is on its way to designing such beings as ourselves.

I had, in fact, already confessed my alter ego to another user on this same thread. Now, before XxSabrinaxX, I was a guest on Nairaland since 2017, before joining the fray as a full-fledged member in 2019. Prior to this, I already cut my teeth on Reddit and many other online sites, as a Christian, that is, until the persuasive arguments of atheists on this very website, among others, led me to becoming an atheist in late 2018.

Accusations of plagiarism: Guilty as charged, especially during my XxSabrinaxX days. I was only a kid in school with a bad case of impatience, in addition to a serious penchant for procrastination, due to school work of course. Instead of taking my time to craft thoughtful responses, I'd rather scour the internet for slick articles, and post them without due attribution, then call it a day. If I'm being honest though, I'd be lying if I said I didn't enjoy the thrill of it all, with youthful exuberance and all that jazz. Accusations of AI: When I rebooted with JessicaRabbit, my aim was to be more original with my responses, but for lack of patience again, I discovered a nifty workaround: I'd just scribble down my raw, unfiltered thoughts, directly feeding them to the app, and out would come polished, articulate responses, that warranted the AI suspicions. But the arguments themselves, are still very much from my own little head, which is why I'm able go back and forth with anyone, either way, for as long as possible.

Now, it seems triplechoice is trying to use my antecedents on this forum to cast doubts on my intellectual credibility. But let me make one thing clear: I come here to read arguments, learn new things, banter and have fun. What matters to me, is the substance of the argument, not whether I'm smart or not. The forum isn't the way it used to be though, in terms of intellectual stimulation, so these days I frequent Reddit more often than I do here. If you suggest they were designed, then you have a problem. The problem is they were poorly designed. The immune system for example attacks some body organs, and there are no fail-safe mechanisms to curtail such attacks. So we end up with autoimmune diseases caused by the body itself. Then you have cellular diseases due to inborn error in metabolism, carcinogenic processes etc. These were products of this 'intelligent design'. Also human birth is a messy process. You have an anus sited about 10cm from the vagina, thus you see a baby popping out and covered with feces. Even the DNA is easily corrupted to code diseases like sickle cell, thalassemia etc.
I can go on and on about the errors in this very 'intelligent design' but my point is there is no intelligence in all these

Have you considered that perhaps we are indeed designed, but our creator(s) may just be ordinary beings not too different from us, out there in the universe? Thus, imperfect, and not some "perfect omiscient God" who makes no mistakes?

I have read it again and I am sorry I cannot see anything which says he ordered it before being inaugurated. If anything it repeatedly makes clear that it was after taking office, even after the appointment of his Defense Secretary, Pete Hegseth.
