Religion / Re: Children Paying Tithes; IS THIS RIGHT? by deesnipes(f): 11:35am On Nov 08, 2012
[quote author=CrazyMan]
Stop misquoting the scriptures.

It didn't say train a child to pay tithe....christ never instructed us to pay tithe.

Read malachi 3:10
Bring all the tithes into the storehouse so there will be enough food in my temple. If you do, says the Lord almighty, I will open the windows of heaven for you. I will pour out a blessing so great you won't have enough room to take it in! Try it! Let me prove it to you!

@op
Asking children to pay tithes is just a way of teaching them what you expect them to do when they grow. Its the same way you teach them how to save when an uncle or aunt gives them money. It is not compilsory, if you feel that's the way you want to train your child, fine. If you think otherwise, fine also but you don't have to castigate those who do.

Family / Re: If Your Husband Did A Paternity Test For Your Children? by deesnipes(f): 9:53pm On Nov 03, 2012
Let's look at this from another angle; if u say women r unfaithful u r right but then their affairs is with men, so women shld not be castigated knowing fully well that it takes two to tangle. In asmuch as we live in a society where nothing comes free especially for women dat av to pay one way or d other to get things done, so yes women are unfaithful.
Also, I think it is a man that knows wat he is doing outside with other married men that will be so much concerned abt d paternity of his children because he might belief that his wife is also promisicous.so a man asking for paternity test might be out of guilty conscience.

BlueDiva: With the way women mess themselves up these days, don't blame the guys for wanting insurance.
You will weep if you know the number of abortions going on daily.

If we must demand change then we must demand total change.
Let us go back to the days of old when women had respect and the wedding night was worth it.
If you want the wedding night to worth it then men shld not insist on sex before marriage as a prerequisite for a lasting relationship.
The issue is not just for women and how they present themselves but for both men and women to have a right mentality about it. It takes two to tangle

Politics / Re: ACN Distributes 100 Customized Mtn Recharge Card In Akure by deesnipes(f): 11:54am On Oct 18, 2012
belabela: From most of the comments so far it is clear that many read without thinking.

How does 100 recharge cards make any sense?

This is what LP and PDP faction will do to tarnish ACN. From the look of things it shows that ACN has the upper hand hence the noise by those trailing them at the moment.

are you very sure of your accusation? Its just a pity majority of those who went out to collect the recharge cards don't have access to this forum, if not they would have told you who exactly gave them the cards.
Also if ACN_ has the upper hand as you said, then why were they going from house to house yesterday evening around 6.30 p.m with bells shouting that pple shld vote for them?

Whatever you say ,you are entitle to your own opinion.
The man reported that some people are using different facebook ID to rubbish his image, requesting money from people.we have up to 10 pastor adeboye ID on facebook, beware of false statements and images.
He can never talk like that ,humility is his watchword.
Why judge and condemn!
Beware

Thank you jare.
There are different fb pages showing different pics, some with the pics above and others with pics of lorries carrying relief materials, so one cannot be sure of the genuienty of the fb pages and d man himself posted some few weeks ago that there are many pple using his name, dats its not him.
Also I think d op was trying to confirm if the statement was truly made by Adeboye.
Lastly from d fb pages I saw, what is in d above pics is wat is meant for a family and not for the whole camp, so its d accumulation of these that was taken with lorries to the relief camp.

Family / Re: Male Child Versus Female Child, which Is Difficult To Raise? by deesnipes(f): 12:09pm On Oct 16, 2012
It takes the grace of God to raise any child be it male or female. I have a very beautiful one year old baby girl and just this last sunday in church 2 boys under age 3 came to her and wanted to peck her and here she was laughing. Immediately my prayer point for her changed to "God please help me to raise this girl in a way that her beauty will not get to her head and that she wiLl be able to take care of herself when neither myself nor her dad or even zubby(her dog) is there".in as much as we teach them right from wrong we should also start praying concerning their future no matter how young they are.
NYSC / Re: Picture Of Pregnant Women At NYSC Camp by deesnipes(f): 11:04am On Oct 15, 2012
We are not sure the pics was taken during the 3 weeks orientation camp. Anyone can easily get pregnant during NYSc period since it runs for 12months and pregnancy is only 9months, so anything is possible.
Anyway nice pics sha.
