First & foremost, the terrible hypocrisy in Romanceland is suffocating. If the dreadful hate that is exhibited here could be concentrated into sending the murderous Boko Harams to extinction, then that would at least lessen our woes in this country.

Like since the nomination thread was created, I have never seen Lanicky post any derogatory comments about her fellow contestants, or paint their reputation in a bad light so as to make respectable voters be prejudiced agaisn't them in casting their votes, but the hurtful words and unpleasant remarks hurled at her person is sickening.

Okay. Yesterday, a thieving nairalander, who goes by the name mimzy, who also happens to be a contestant in the ongoing Miss NL competition, was caught red-handed stealing another nairalander's work, although she refuted the accusation with a common thief's poor logic but she was lynched by the mob before a MOD locked her plagiarised thread.

My dear Nairalanders, isn't that desperation of the highest order? And you must have noticed the threads she created recently, that she might as well have stolen, all in the mad bid to secure an enviable sum of 50k yet the old hag said her humble self is not after the money(?) Really? Who is deceiving who?

Then also I was amazed that the whole Knights' of Camelot that were renowned detectives/e-warlords, who are responsible for shaming people who commit an act that does not in any way conform to NL rules, suddenly became calm and turned "peacemakers".

What a shame!!!

Nothing is more attractive than a man standing by his word.

However our previous Miss NLs maintained a praiseworthy reputation, & maintained a respectable character worthy of emulation.

And why, Why the titty fuck_ should a depraved robber lay waste to such tradition?

Do remember that Nairaland is accessed daily by distinguished personas such as bloggers, politicians, business men, big brands, people from other countries & continents, if mimzy is eventually crowned queen, what would that tell of us?

Nairalanders will never cease to amaze me with their comments. But on a more serious note, let's analyse this situation thoroughly.

First, morally speaking these guys are just being naïve and it's so so wrong and like some peeps mentioned earlier, saying they're immature, low self esteem, poor thinking, big fools- Yes, you guys are right and you're definitely entitled to your opinions but on a second note, we shouldn't judge others just because we sin differently from them. So let's be considerate in dishing out insults to these guys.

Also let's look at it from another perspective and I believe we are familiar with the word called ''Balling''. Yea, these guys are definitely balling and if I should scale it on 1-10, I would rate them 2. Op, I'm sure you've not seen when a real dude hits the jackpot particularly here in benin city. Lemme share an experience with you guys

Last year november 2015, 3 guys came to my shop and decided to get for themselves 3 Toyota Venza and 3 Honda Evil Spirit for their girlfriends. I was so happy because I really did made a healthy profit from it and being one of the guys a former class-mate of mine back then in elementary school, I decided to ask him privately how come he got so much money and why wasting it on material things rather than investing them on something profitable, he told me we'll talk later and that I shouldn't spoil the fun.

After the paperworks and all that, we went to a bar at G.R.A(Name withheld) and Op, you wouldn't believe how these other two guys lavished this raw cash. If I can remember correctly, those guys spent a roughly estimate of 2 mill that day and after the whole charade, I finally got a chance to speak with my friend and it turns out that he was smarter than his 2 colleagues. As I'm typing this right now, he has a 2-bedroom flats and his colleagues are even squatting with him and dead broke and he opened a boutique for himself.

So my point exactly is that we shouldn't categorised all these yahoo guys as junkies or fools or bastards, some are actually smart and have a good life because they knew where they started and where they're heading to. Though some are reckless, rude and annoying especially when you happen to be in the same bar with them. But some are smart and are living a good life and I can count a few I've encountered.

Finally, Op if you want to know what yahoo money is all about, kindly pay a visit to Benin-City. It's never a dull moment with those guys here. Trust Me.
