I call only twice or thrice and if you don't pick I assume you are busy. I may send a text or not,depending on the importance of the call.

Majority of people just feel that it's better to leave you with so many missed calls so that when you see it you'll realize that it was important. I believe all those stress could have been saved by simply writing that in a text and send it to the recipient. When he sees it he will get the message and call straight away.
