Hi guys,

Please I have a few questions troubling me. I am re-applying and already have a 10 digit UCI UCI number.
When filling the form I am only allowed to type 8 digits. Please has anyone encountered this problem before and please what's the solution?

Secondly, am I right to say that Paper applications will be filled in Adobe Reader and printed out OR with BIRO. Just want to confirm, thanks.

Lastly, am I to fill all questions in the Questionnaire. There are two headings "Student or Worker Visa Questionnaire" and "Study Permit Questionnaire". Please will I print out the two two forms? I noticed the first form looks like a computer form.

Please give me detailed answer.
Thanks

LiteratureA Lie From The Pit Of Hell - A Short Story by deezoneclu(op): 5:36pm On Jul 19, 2012
HOW MANY LIES ARE ACTUALLY FROM THE PIT OF HELLhuh

Ade and Titi are Christian friends. One day, Titi hears something she considers new about the gospel. She immediately discards it because it does not conform with her childhood beliefs. She did this quickly and easily without even considering what the Bible says.

“Afterall” she says, “many false prophets have gone into the world”.
Ade, on the other hand, wants to at least confirm it from the scripture. This tendency in him has not escaped frequent lashes from Titi. Two days ago, a popular TV-Preacher said “It is a blessing to know His Word” referring to the Bible “but you must always know His voice”.

Instantly and without hesitation, Titi nodded like an Agama lizard, lifting her hands to claim it. Ade, who had deep respect for the personality of the preacher but a deeper respect for the infallible Word of God reasoned, using simple logic; “If one does not know the revealed Word of God how will he understand the voice of God”. As though electric charges ran through the spine of Titi, she cast a you-are-not-spiritual-look at Ade and pointing a finger at the television, she said: “This is Apostle Zakkheus we are talking about.

Mind yourself lest you speak evil against the anointed man of God. Remember the Bible says ‘touch not my anointed and do my prophet no harm’”. Apostle Zakkheus is an aggressive and prominent figure in evangelicalism. Millions swim into his ministry in search of gold or grace and sometimes to know about their future. The quest to know the unknown is alarming that the pulpit has sometimes been turned to a shrine.

In fact, a few months ago, a certain young man had approached the man of God to know who to marry amongst 5 girls he was dating. Without trying to know whether the young man was born again, he approved of one of them as God’s-Will. Although the Apostle is a big figure, he has several god-fathers he is following. One of his god-fathers had earlier said: “Because Jesus died, your poverty is dead” and untold thousands would raise their only hands to one Accord.

WebmastersRe: Please Review This HERBAL Website by deezoneclu(op): 2:43pm On May 23, 2012
@yawa: Well, in ds case i guess u're right but in others u may not be.
For example, in buddypress (no.1 wp soc-net plugin), u can either
1. cr8 a child theme or
2. create ur own bp theme by using d template tags but not inheriting d html/css of d default theme.
In d former, u av 'modified' but in d latter u've cr8d.
Generally, we should bear in mind dat theme is all about html/css. So if you can get a bunch load of 'new html/css' u av cr8d despite d fact dat u added wp-php tags.
I will properly ascribe d word modify, even in d case of wp, to editing a downloaded theme or d default theme. But where u write ur html/css, its not modification even if u use d wp-php tags.
For d tags make up d engine not d theme.

Hahaha... Thanx so much. But i dnt knw wot u meant by 'customization'.

Customizatn is wen u modify a theme to suit ur need.

LiteratureAn Interesting Poem On Amebo (gossip) by deezoneclu(op): 10:01am On Nov 04, 2011
The last poem i posted here on agony of childbirth received lots of applauds. This is another one.

Here is an appeal to the busybodies who cannot just hold their peace. Wazobia – our nation – is filled with many of them and if you are one, please stop doing that and let your yes be yes. Moreso let your gentleness be revealed to all for the sake of yourself and your family plus the end is near.Actually i’m not one of them (laughs) but you know… God will help us all not to murmur. Again if you are on of them, i got you.

Of generosity in absurdity
And with plenteous words – baked
In both the seen and unseen – served
With words too fast to be trapped
Say, she employs her talent exhaling hearsays

“Have you heard?” She begins
Flourishing in a neighborhood of idlers
Like beget like; a colony erupts
Fixing ears to the walls of Wazobia

“I’ve not said it all…” She continues
Pampering her soulishness and taking thoughts
Self-pityingly of the penury of her speed
She quickens, like the pedal of a sewing machine
Flipping through chapters of public profiles

“No…(coughs) Noo, ” She gallops
Outstretched ears vibrate hoping to reconnect to server
Sermonic echo booms – Let thy yes be yes and no, no
Elongated hisses and floating curses fly back to sender

Now, with wrappers re-wrapped
Revealing an underlay of a checkered I-don’t-know
That has suffered wear and rich in erosion
They dispatch, each to her mission snooping from house to house
Hoping to bring a harvest of sham words

Don’t forget to leave a comment on my website www.davexpression.[co.[cc]. Would love to hear your view. Thanks
LiteratureThe Books You Should Read by deezoneclu(op): 5:20pm On Apr 06, 2011
Hello guys. We all know that books get published everyday and there are good books as well as bad ones. CS Lewis said it better to read more of old books than new one cos old ones have not been tested and proved.

So, here they are:

1. The Richest Man in Babylon - George Clason { if u're thinking of making money}

2. Talent is Never Enough - John C Maxwell { if u feel u got talents}

3. The Closing of the American Mind - Prof. Allan Bloom { know more about the mindless world we live in}

4. Brave New World - Aldous Huxley - {George Orwell's predictions are outdated. Check out for Aldous says}

5. 1999 Constitution CAP C20 LFN 2004

LiteratureRebranding Our Identity by deezoneclu(op): 7:50pm On Apr 04, 2011
Some couple of months ago the reBranding issue was hot in every part of Nigeria and the Press really contributed to this evangelism.

However people were not really sure what it's content was. Imagine a Lit101 course without course outline. Therefore, everyone was forced into fashioning out their own meaning, hence subjectivity transcended objectivity.

My question is, are writers also to be rebranded ? Are my noble Nairaland writers to be rebranded and if yes, how? Please kindly suggest.

Well! GoDaddy is a very good company with lots of popularity. If you wanna go there you are safe.

The only thing is that i think there is a .htaccess issue with them. My friend wanted to use the php file extension ReWrite module to change all .php to .html and he had problems with that.

That could be a result of his lack of knowledge in that regard. But just do a thorough analysis before jumping into one. I use siteground and everything is fine.
Christianity EtcAn Eye For An Eye by deezoneclu(op): 3:04pm On Dec 01, 2010
Culled from http://www.articlesbase.com/christianity-articles/an-eye-for-an-eye-3759338.html. Its mine. I wrote it. Please enjoy!

Popular Nigerian singer P-Square, in pidgin English, said in one of their songs: "if you do me I do you, man no go vex". In fact, this was the title of their song.

This mentality of an eye for an eye has been in existence in the African society, perhaps the world, for a very long time and I think that P-Square kind of stamped this mentality more powerfully on the mind of the youths. Thereby, making it seem natural.

But I beg to differ. This idea has to be uprooted.

An eye for an eye means that your reaction to an action is almost equal.

If I punched you in the face and you punched back and this happened to all of us, sooner or later, everyone will be blind.

So, we must learn to forgive and forbear things. It is not he who can forgive that is actually weak but he who cannot. For it is almost natural that when you punch me I punch you back.

But it takes strength to resist an urge to revenge and to do something different. It shows you really can control yourself.

This inability to control oneself leads to inability to change oneself and the world. A Bishop in Westminster Abbey lost this ability and this was said about him:

"At a tender age I had a dream of changing the world. I tried, tried and tried but the world would not change. Later I realised that if I had changed myself it would affect my family. Maybe, my State would have changed and later my country, my continent and the world, if I had changed myself."

Jesus said:

"You have heard that it was said, 'Eye for eye… But I tell you… If someone strikes you on the right cheek, turn to him the other also… Give to the one who asks you, and do not turn away from the one who wants to borrow from you.

Matt 5:38-42 NIV

I was inspired to write this article after reading this beautiful quote of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr:

The old law of an eye for an eye leaves everybody blind.

Microsoft ® Encarta ® 2009. © 1993-2008 Microsoft Corporation. All rights reserved.

So, dear friend, cease from having this mentality of an eye for an eye, "you do me I do you" attitude because that will hurt everyone.

Thanks for reading.

LiteratureCheck Out This Beautiful Poem by deezoneclu(op): 2:58pm On Dec 01, 2010
Poetry is beautiful. It is divine and natural. The splendor of poetry is greatly appreciated by Wordpress as this: "coding is poetry".

I love to write poems. This poem carefully depicts a pregnant woman who suddenly feels her stomach turn and cries for help. Luckily, her husband comes to her rescue. On getting to the hospital, the doctors and nurses (green and white masquerades) asks her to push. Eventually, the boy comes out crying.

Even though I am not a lady, I do feel for pregnant women who go through the pain of delivery. Obviously, this poem is dedicated to them. Here it goes:

Swiftly it came like a thief in the night

Legs seized – heavy burden to carry

Stomach turned – new boy cannot tarry

Sweats slide hurriedly on the body; pain flows through the soul

Expression was lost, only one word remained-

Help!

Gathering all strength she yelled out

Grabbing the knob and constantly refusing to be overcome by this terror of Eve

In a moment that seemed like eternity

Alas! Unbearable eternity

Honey rushed in to assist; hauling her to the metallic machine

And receiving the unwelcome rewards of wails and howls

Suddenly, green and white masquerades walled her

"Push!" to the pain-bearer they say

This poem is a sonnet (14 lines) and I wish you enjoyed it. Please feel free to tell me what you feel about my poem.

Hey dont fret.

I am a web developer and a writer.

The fact is that it takes time for Google to index your site -whether free or paid- and it takes another couple of days for it to be ranked.

For good hosting i would suggest www.siteground.com or hostgator or bluehost. I really think that Naija hosts are not up to the task of effectively hosting a great site.

You might also consider shifting your blog from to Wordpress. Just my opinion cos WPress is kinda better. For instance, this new site is a free one on Wpress and it can be googled www.davexpression. Its mine anyway.
