AFRICA SHOULD BAN SOUTH AFRICA FROM SPORTING COMPETITIONS BECAUSE OF THE XENOPHOBIC KILLINGS OF OTHER AFRICANS until THEY ARREST THE PERPETRATORS AND NO SINGLE INCIDENCE OF BLACK ON BLACK VIOLENCE IS HEARD AGAIN.

(I remember that South Africa was banned from all African sporting activities back in the Seventies & Eighties)

CAF.....Ban them from next Nations Cup PLEASE!!!!

When they have Patrice Motsepe, their son, as the CAF president, how will CAF ban SA?

Stop talking trash, you are talking about tenacity and positioning and you are putting Osimhen anf R9 in the same sentence ? That's blasphemy, Osimhen can never be compared with R9 in any aspect of the game, he was called e phenomenon for a reason.

Osimhen has had just one 20 plus league goal season in Europe top five leagues, stop acting like he was banging 30 league goals every season.
Who bags 30 goals consistently EVERY SESSONhuh Even Salah made up to 32 (only time he reached 30 at all) only in his first season in 2018....
Haarland also did same tally ONLY in his debut season 2022....It's not a walk in the park to score 25 consistently...not minding 30.

And FYI I can't RECALL seeing R9 daLima scoring with his head....he simply wasn't a complete footballer.

LiteratureRe: Short Story: That Was The Last Thing Any Of Us Ever Saw by Deffi(m):
tonystark007:
It was today! Everyone called it the biggest crusade the community have ever seen.

My cousins, my uncle, his wife & my baby brother, watched silently as I wore my “Christian clothes” & prepared for revenge against the infidels

But I was confused. Christians didn’t unalive my parents. Terr0rists did.

My name is Amira, I’m 15.

5 years ago, terrorists wiped out my village in Borno. My parents hid my little brother & I inside a dry well while they were brutally murdered outside.

I watched everything.

Watched them beat my father badly, and tied him up, while they violated my mother one by one before finally cvtting off her head.

Then they cvt off his legs, set him on fir3 & laughed as he bvrned to d3ath

I pressed my brother tightly to my chest, covering his eyes and blocking his ears from my father’s screams.

After that night, survivors brought us to Lagos, where my uncle Bashiru and his wife raised us. Slowly, I learned to smile again.

Until Kabiru arrived and everything changed.

One morning, I caught him staring at me strangely, and goosebumps covered my body. I never liked him, so I warned my brother, now 10, to stay away from him but he never listened.

They were always together & Kabiru kept taking him to the mosque & teaching him to pray.

I began to feel my uncle and aunt were afraid of him because before then, going to the mosque had always been optional. Nobody forced religion on us, and I only prayed when I wanted to. They were Muslims mostly in name.

But suddenly, everything changed. I had to cover my head with a hijab, wear Muslim clothes, and pray constantly.

Then one night, after speaking privately with my uncle and aunt, Kabiru told me it was finally time to avenge my parents.

I was happy… For five years, I had dreamed about revenge. Maybe Kabiru wasn’t so bad after all if he cared enough about my parents to want justice for them.

But my aunt was crying, and my uncle refused to look me in the eye. I was confused. Wasn’t he happy that his brother would finally be avenged?

Until he explained how.

There would be a crusade in one week. I was to wear a b0mb vest, disguise myself as a Christian, and detonate it during the altar call. Sending as many infidels to he|| as possible

“Wait… what?”
I looked at my uncle and aunt but they looked away

Then, he said, I would wake up in heaven as a virgin, married to a warrior & prince, while my parents would be honored because of my sacrifice.

“I don’t understand. U want me to ki|| myself & innocent people? But they didn’t do anything to—”

The slap that followed nearly blinded me. He was shouting but I couldn’t hear. My ear was ringing badly.
Gradually, his words became clearer.

He said Lagos has spoiled me & he wished I had di3d with my parents in Borno cos I had become a disgrace and was no longer a true Muslim.

I stood up crying & said no. I told him I’d never become a svicide b0mb3r or unalive innocent people cos I’m not a monster.

He laughed…

Next thing, he started b3ating me. He kick3d me repeatedly until I could barely stand, then dragged me into my room & violated me the same way my mother was violated 5 years ago.

The next morning, he returned with six others whom he called my cousins. One wore a mask.

One after another, they violated me.

When the sixth man was on top of me, as he was vibrating and shaking, his mask slipped off, and I saw his face.

It was uncle Bashiru!

I refused to cry.
My silence became my only weapon. My only act of defiance.

So I stared directly into his eyes the same way my mother had stared at those terrorists years ago and said nothing.

Afterward, Kabiru warned me:
“If you refuse again, your little brother will take your place.”

That was when I remembered the last thing my parents ever told me:

“Protect your brother, Amira.”

So I whispered:
“Okay. I’ll do it.”

He smiled. One by one, they left.

Uncle Bashiru never spoke to me again after that night. Neither did my aunt. She only brought food and water to my room while avoiding my eyes in shame and guilt.

That’s how I knew she knew exactly what her husband had done.

And now, it was today.

Kabiru was showing me how to activate the b0mb. The vest was already strapped tightly to my body. One of the same cousins who had violated me was the one who fastened it.

The others sat around smiling casually, making jokes and small talk. They told me not to worry because my virginity would be restored once I reached heaven. They said my parents and my new husband would be proud of me.

Uncle Bashiru and his wife just watched silently.

Kabiru explained that I should wait until what the infidels called the altar call or testimony session was happening.

Then I would walk forward as if I wanted to give my life to Isa or share a testimony. At that moment, I was to shout, “Allahu Akbar,” and activate the vest.

Then they asked if I had any last wish.

Quietly, I nodded and asked to see my brother.

He walked in slowly. His eyes were swollen, and I knew he had been crying.

I hugged him tightly and asked him to do one last favor for me.

He nodded.

So I told him to go buy shawarma and Cold Stone ice cream for us so we could eat together. One final supper.

He smiled immediately. Those were his favorite things. Mine too.

Uncle Bashiru handed him money, and he rode off on his bike.

The moment I heard the gate close, I looked around the room again.

I no longer saw family.
Only monsters.
No different than the terr0rists who destroyed my village and unalived my parents.

I checked the time.
Ten minutes had passed since my brother left.

“Amira,” Kabiru called, “do not fail us. You know what will happen if you do.”

They were all staring at me, waiting for a response.

I looked at every single one of them and smiled back.

Then I shouted:

“Allahu Akbar!”

The fear on their faces…the shock!

The satisfaction…

That was the last thing any of us ever saw as I detonated the b0mb.

The End

But what I don't understand is the people of the second religion calling Christians (or other religions like Judaism and Buddism) keferis or heathens!!!

HABA! YOUR RELIGION THAT WAS FORMED AFTER THE KING JESUS CHRIST HAD COME & FINISHED GOD'S WORK OF SALVATION, AND CHRISTIANITY HAD EXISTED FOR WELL OVER 700 YEARS, then second religion came, AND CALLS THE RELIGION IT MET ON GROUND (HEATHEN) ??

ABI, IT SHOULD BE THE RELIGION THAT CAME FIRST THAT SHOULD BE CALLING THE SECOND RELIGION A HEATHEN or whatever religion!!!!!!!

People really need to THINK!

You prolly didn't watch R9 play, his pace is one of his biggest strengths that's why 80% of his goals were from solo runs. Osimhen is actually not fast, you can hardly see him run from his defence through the midfield to score solo goals because he lack the pace needed to go that distance with the ball.
Who is talking about fastness in sprinting? I meant fastness reaction in scoring.

And what he lacks in pace he clearly is better with tenacity and great sense of positioning....cut the guy some slack.

I’m thinking of committing suicide and I hope I will be born again as a white woman.

Why are Nigerians with uk visa and Schengen visa granted an E-visa and why others without it have to go stress of going to the embassy and still get denied. Being a black woman from Nigeria is really difficult.

The funny part is I had all document, I’m law student and I had no reason to not come back to my country and they just denied me without any reason.

RomanceRe: The Loneliness Pandemic: People Now Having 'AI Girlfriends' by Deffi(m): 7:24pm On Mar 27
It is satanic. That fad should be avoided by every right thinking person.
Those are demons in disguise, not ai girl or boy friends.
======================

uche87:
Did you know you can now have an AI–generated girlfriend? One that is beautifully designed and tailored to your exact preferences. You could even create one that looks like a co-worker or an ex you still miss. These systems are programmed to simulate romance and intimacy, all for a subscription fee.

Ladies and gentlemen, there is a growing loneliness pandemic across the world. And if we are honest, it feels like we are heading somewhere troubling.

Advances in information technology have significantly aggravated loneliness. Research shows that people who spend more than two hours per day on social media are about twice as likely to feel socially isolated compared to light users. In addition, a study found that reducing social media usage to just 30 minutes a day led to noticeable reductions in loneliness and depression.
People no longer socialise the way they used to. Meetings, gatherings, and even celebrations now take place online, through Zoom, Microsoft Teams, and similar platforms. Instead of visiting friends, we rely on video calls and long chats. It is cheaper, more convenient, and effortless. And that is exactly why it is so appealing.

In my view, the Western world is among the hardest hit. In secure work environments where mobile phones are restricted, colleagues tend to interact more freely and build stronger relationships. But once those same individuals regain access to their devices during breaks, they retreat into their screens, scrolling, watching, and disengaging from those physically around them.

Even on the streets, social interaction has declined. There is a growing “stranger-danger” culture. When I first moved to the UK, I noticed how unusual it seemed to some people when I stopped them to ask for directions. Many walk with headphones on, absorbed in their own world. Strangers are often treated with suspicion. This contrasts sharply with parts of Africa, where people more easily form connections in everyday situations on public transport, in markets, or on the street. Friendships and even romantic relationships often begin in these spontaneous interactions. There is a natural openness that fosters connection.

Economic pressures also play a role. The high cost of living in Europe and America forces many people to work multiple jobs. By the time they are done, there is little energy left for social life. Gradually, work and finances become central, while human connection takes a back seat.
For some, quick fixes replace meaningful relationships, whether through transactional encounters, self-gratification, or artificial substitutes. These may provide temporary relief, but they do not address the deeper need for connection.

Religious and community gatherings have also been affected. Many people now attend services virtually rather than in person. Immigrants, in particular, often miss social events due to demanding work schedules. Even when they attend, it is often brief, just enough to show face before returning to work.

All these factors contribute to an increasingly isolated society and a rise in depression and emotional distress. Even entertainment has changed. Instead of attending live events, we stream performances online. Instead of shared experiences, we consume content alone.
We are also witnessing a growing population of single individuals, men and women, searching for companionship. At the same time, people are becoming less willing to confide in friends and family. Privacy concerns and fear of judgment push many to seek advice from artificial intelligence instead.

While AI tools are efficient and helpful, their growing role raises an important question: are we replacing human connection with convenience?
The future feels uncertain. Technology is advancing rapidly, and there is no turning back. The world may never return to the level of physical interaction it once had.

Loneliness is no longer just a personal struggle. It is becoming a societal condition. And unlike many other issues, it doesn’t announce itself loudly. It kills softly.
