If we go down, anything is possible. Ordinarily, whatever was announced at the FOMC conference was supposed to weaken the us dollar index rise. I was cautious and wanted to wait till 7 pm plus before entering my trade because I knew that the dollar index was overbought at that area. In spite of that, the correction only lasted few hours ,I haven't seen a thing like this before.
The dollar is the strongest it has been in over 20 years - let that sink in for a while. Currencies against the dollar like eurusd are chasing lows they have not seen in over 20 yrs. The last time gbpusd traded where it is currently was in 1985 - who was trading by then for here?
My prayer is that the Nigerian economy can, somehow, survive this global economic tsunami.

the fed is fighting aggressively against inflation, so we should expect more interest rate hikes till the end of the year.

Market has reacted big time. I didn't expect it to shoot beyond 19.6k sha, it surprised me. Good thing my stop loss wasn't too tight -- market went hunting for that 20k psychological level . Deflover, hope you were not stopped out?

Bro, looking at the chart. There is a chance that btc goes up but can it beat 19.6k? I have serious doubts about that - i suspect the push at the moment is to trick people into buying before they dump it again to 18.5k -17.8k levels again. If the news is as bad as they are pushing it to be, we may see 16k. The picture will become clearer as we get closer to 7pm.

Don't be too sure when calling for crash ,you maybe right though but i don't think Bitcoin will fall below 18,700 today ,whatever happens we'll find out at the end of the day,I'm tired of staring at charts.

You can buy the both. But buy them in small quantities since the market may still go lower.
Like some people telling you not to buy now, no one knows exactly the bottom.
If you decide to completely fold your hands and wait, you may see btcee at 30k next month.
Deflover and geovanni412, not everyone trades. Some people just wanna invest and sell when the price comes up.
The market is more than 90% down already.
